i don't think i ever gave a serious response to this
Taxation:
- A tax that should be raised: Consumption/sales tax.
- A tax that should be lowered: Income tax.
- A tax that should remain about the same: Gas tax (or environmental taxes for the UK)
- A new tax: A land value tax in urban areas.
- A tax that should be abolished: Corporate income tax.
raise corporate tax
lower income tax
no new taxes

Quote
Subsidies:
- A subsidy that should be raised: The Earned Income Tax credit.
- A subsidy that should be lowered: Mortgage interest/health insurance subsidy.
- A subsidy that should remain about the same: R&D tax credits.
- A new subsidy: Tax credits for private education.
- A subsidy that should be eliminated: Agricultural subsidies.
this all seems reasonable to me

Area of expenditure:
idrc

less should be going to the military, that's all i know

Yeah, they're very iconic. Great band. I'm not sure what it is about the vocals that you don't enjoy; my biggest complaint is that it's often hard to understand.
he said "ironic", not iconic lol

but yeah

Wait - one of these songs was in an Avengers trailer.
Yep--We're in This Together.

Pretty much all of the first half of the record has some cinematic tie.

"Somewhat Damaged" is the song that Tom Hiddleston used to pump himself up for his role as Loki.
"The Day the World Went Away" was used in the Terminator: Salvation trailer.
"The Wretched" was just featured in the Batman: Arkham Knight trailer.
"We're in This Together" was used in the Avengers.
"Just Like You Imagined" was used in the 300 trailer.
"The Mark Has Been Made" was used in the Man on Fire trailer, as well as Unbreakable.

pretty cool huh

most of what I listened to so far is pretty anti-statist, it's not that I'm offended by their politics anyway

it just sounds kinda dumb
how about this

it's not ratm; it's just zach this time (with trent reznor doing everything else)

it has one of the sickest breakdowns ever, imo

34875
I REALLY like the way out is through
that's a good one

that's the second half, if i remember correctly--i think that's the side that was harder for me to get into

34877
15 minutes in and I'm enjoying myself so far.

I don't get the joke
he's implying that dunkey's voice vaguely resembles zach de la rocha's

i mean i see where he's coming from, but

A lot of games dude, I've just never played the "big" games. Shadow of the Colussus, Half Life, Heavy Rain, and a lot more.

I've just sort of stuck to what I like. I actually play a lot, at least to me I play a lot.
it's not a big deal--i just see you post the words "i haven't played this game" pretty often lol

all right, playing again

34880
me too

For people who don't believe in God atheists sure are afraid of him.
How can I be afraid of an entity which doesn't exist?
For people who don't believe in God atheists sure are afraid of him.
Nah we're just sick of you still believing in Santa and having a stick up your ass about it.
For people who don't believe in God atheists sure are afraid of him.
Let's just go ahead and replace "God" with "Allah", then.

Anyone who's opposed to that is obviously just afraid of Allah.
OH BABY A TRIPLE

I like the expression on his face, and the muscles throbbing. It really helps the globe or whatever it is he's carrying seem that much heavier.
