Gaming / Re: Halo Anniversary's bad art« on: August 25, 2015, 08:11:07 PM »Her point is that that sort of mentality is harmful to the industry. The existence of shitty remakes is a blight on the industry, and we have the right to communicate our dissatisfaction to others.Exactly.Who gives a shit? If you don't like it, go back to playing the original unedited games.Who cares if M Night Shnalymang makes an Avatar 2? If you don't like it, just go back to watching the original cartoon. If the developers catch on that people aren't satisfied with their game, they'll make a better product. But that's not going to happen if we just lay complacent. 32504

I hate that the plasma rifle is better, because I actually find it a lot less fun to use than the AR.
Like, I want the AR to be good--but it just isn't, really. The plasma pistol is godlike, though, as well as being fun to use. That rate of fire is amazing. Also, I'm aware that I haven't been commenting too much on the story. That's because I'm trying to save some things for the review. 32505

Gaming / Re: Halo: Combat Evolved - Impressions (Progress: Assault on the Control Room)« on: August 25, 2015, 07:44:47 PM »When's the Silent Catographer post coming damnit.hi All right, quick update on Silent Cartographer, I guess. Sorry for the delay--classes just started for me, so yeah. Unfortunately, I don't remember a great deal of what I experienced, and I didn't take much notes, so I'll only be able to comment on what stuck out the most to me. Perhaps I'll replay the level as soon as my new copy comes in. This was my favorite level so far, but pretty much only because of the landscape. I thought the beach/island setting was kinda neat, and the fact that it was a lot brighter than previous levels was certainly welcome. The jungle scenery isn't really as lush as it could be--the textures in this game are still an absolute nightmare to look at, but at least it felt a lot more colorful than the last level. After having been taught a little bit more about how weapons are meant to work, I had a lot more fun using them in different situations--even the assault rifle (even though it's still my least favorite weapon by far). The rocket launcher was introduced, and it was hella fun to use against the hunters. Exploring the map room was the most fun I've had with the game thus far. I still find the combat pretty monotonous and unending at times, though. The shoot-run-hide-shoot routine gets really old after awhile, especially when I'm just fighting the same damn enemies over and over. Hopefully the flood will come soon. My new copy should be coming in within the next three days. 32507

The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:58:12 PM »that's what NSFL is forlol how long did it take you to find that because I've never heard or seen that in my life 32512
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:55:03 PM »Apples and orangeshow they're both acronyms the point is, people don't always mean the exact literal thing when it's spelled out NSFW doesn't just mean "not safe for work" it can also mean "not safe for" fucking anything not safe for public use not safe for when you're at home and you have little fucking children around not safe for school anything any atmosphere or setting where the content may get you into some deep shit--NSFW it's just the catch-all term people use to describe all that shit, because that's how we work 32513
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:49:48 PM »Yes, that's what people mean. It's literally what the acronym stands for, holy Christ"lol" stands for "laugh out loud" so i guess that means everyone who's ever used "lol" actually laughed out loud, right Quote Has anyone ever told you that you're stubborn as hell? Like, it's possible to change your viewpoint when presented with contrasting evidence, you know.sure i just don't think you've done that yet 32514
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:43:51 PM »I do know exactly what people mean when they say NSFW. Not safe for work. When I'm at work, is it safe to view this? If I work at any realistic American job, can I watch porn? No. Can I say nigger? No.nope, that's not what people mean they usually mean something more inline with that i encapsulated 32515
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:40:22 PM »You obviously don't understand the concept of NSFW. All that it means is what employers find unacceptable.then i'll start saying NSFS7, then or NSFaCTVCD (not safe for a community that values common decency) this is just semantic and retarded--you obviously know exactly what people mean when they say NSFW so what the fuck 32516
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:36:35 PM »This whole time you've been arguing you're against suggestive avatars because they're NSFWOr both. 32517
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:34:59 PM »"Safe for work" inherently refers to what people think of things. If every employer on the planet suddenly changed their opinion about boobs, then boobs would cease to become NSFW.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_populum 32518
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:30:55 PM »Because you care about what's safe for work,By MY standards. Not yours, not his--mine. 32519
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:29:14 PM »This is the opinion of people in general.so... you're appealing to the majority, then again, i don't really give a fuck what most people think, if most people are stupid 32520
The Flood / Re: Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 06:24:58 PM »I challenge you to find a legitimate employer who's fine with the N-word being used on company servers.if you don't care about my standards, or cheat's standards, why should I give one single fuck about the average dumbfuck employer's? Quote Cheat doesn't determine what's SFWhe is, though right now. actually it's his website Quote The word nigger and fuck are socially inherently NSFW; it doesn't matter if you disagree with that.who's treating their opinions as facts now, tblocks? why aren't you calling class out? hmm? |
