I used to be very particular about what Poké Balls I use, too. If a Pokémon looks like it belongs in a certain ball, then that's what I catch it with (Tentacool -> Great Ball, due to matching designs. Shiny Pokémon go in Premier Balls).

I was super autistic about it in Gen IV, though. When trading with friends, I gave them very specific instructions on how I wanted it to be caught. "Male. No nickname. Dusk Ball only." I feel bad for putting them through that.

"If a roaming Pokémon uses Roar to flee from battle, it will permanently disappear for the current save file, unless the player does not save the game after this occurs."

Wow, that's fucked.

The only thing I like about them remotely is their leader, and even then he doesn't compare to someone like Cyrus. Well, sort of.

Though idk why he decided to kill himself in the end. Now it's off to the Elite 4 with me.
Oh, you're much farther than I thought. What's your team?

So I've been powering through Pokemon X so I can play Omega Ruby

and uhh, the little flashback story of that small pokemon and that guy was... surprisingly sad. And the cutscene was a pleasant surprise.

I swear though, I don't know who is worse. Team Plasma or Flare. They're both so painfully bland, but I think Flares music is worse.
Honestly, no team has been spectacular, but Team Flare was definitely a new low for me. Without spoiling, there's a good reason they're widely considered to be the worst overall.

As dumb as they can get, you can usually point to at least one or two things that are pretty cool about each team. Team Magma/Aqua had the most harebrained motivations in the series, but their over-the-top dialogue and general stupidity made them funny as hell. Team Galactic had those dopey-looking designs, but Cyrus was awesome, and is probably the most sympathetic villain in the series (to me, anyway). Team Plasma's motives were interesting, if hypocritical--because the ethics of Pokémon battling had never been tackled as a subject matter before.

Team Flare... I can honestly say there wasn't a thing about them that I found remotely redeeming, let alone interesting.

why would i drink on a Tuesday?
Why not?
cause its a weekday and there's nothing special going on
Yeah, but why does something special need to be going on for someone to have a drink?
most people in america aren't willing to embrace their degeneracy, so they need a special excuse

at least belgians are proud degenerates

Meanwhile the ice caps are larger than ever
Well, yeah, why wouldn't they be?

The ozone layer has been repairing itself for the past few decades from all the CFCs prior to when products containing them were made illegal. We would expect Antarctica to be growing. . .
So that shows that Earth isn't warming....
. . . No.

It shows that damage done to the ozone layer by atomic halogens in previously widely used products is repairing itself.
Which causes the Earth to cool....
painful ignorance

The outfit thing I can understand since it's a remake, but I honestly like HG/SS. What was your issue with it?
- Gen IV's clunky, molasses-paced battles made an unwelcome reprisal
- Having your Pokémon constantly follow you around gets very annoying after awhile
- Terrible music--ALL of my favorite tracks were ruined (except Silver's theme)
- The 2D/3D thing just does not work for me whatsoever--I've talked about this before
- Fucking Lyra

etc.

But yeah, the #1 reason is because it has that lingering Gen IV stink that I can't handle for too long. To be fair, though, Gen II is my baby, so they probably couldn't have made a remake that I would be happy with in the end.

I actually loved it when it first came out, but it really soured on me in a short period of time.

I got Omega Ruby today

2 things

May has the cutest expressions (playing as Brendan, otherwise it'd just be C:)

Music is lovely. The random pokemon theme is so nostalgic
After the travesty that was HG/SS, OR/AS was wonderfully pleasant treat. Can't think of anything I disliked about it--the abundance of HMs aside. Oh, and they took out being able to change your outfits.

Oh, and there are a lot of... gimmies. You'll see what I mean by that.

Maybe if you try transferring Missingno. to S/N, it'll turn into a Type: Null.

The spawn times should be cut in half or at least a quarter shorter and that bullshit where the game shows you the location of the player who killed you should be removed. It's bullshit that players are being punished fore killing other players by a feature which is nothing more than a handicap. I shouldn't have to move from my location due to a feature, I should be moving to due other players spotting me.
If you want a game with instant spawn times go buy Infinite Failure instead of BF1
how the fuck do you read "cut in half" and interpret that as "instant"

how the fuck do you do that

i had a dream premonition last night where i destroyed all anime and world peace was instantly achieved thereafter

no ISIS, no politics, no north korean dictatorship--but most importantly, no anime

so we all just lay around and fellate each other all day, because everything is perfect, and anime was the only thing blocking our brains from reaching the logical conclusion that "why are we killing each other when we could just... not do that"

by invoking #banime on sep7agon, you'll bring us one step closer to exacting this utopic reality
