i don't care fuck mods

how the fuck are you being meme'd so hard by chally
oh so you're saying he's only pretending to be retarded

14104
A hijab is one thing, but burkas on police officers? Come on.
What's the problem with it? It's Islamic dress. Are you going to tell them how they should dress?

Yes.

Because this is stupid.
Why is it stupid?
unless you want a special forces group that specializes in being spoopy ghosts idk what to tell ya

So apart from memes you have no real argument to back up your intolerance?
It restricts vision and movement, and it deviates greatly from what an officer's uniform should look like. Both of those are pretty important for an officer. Hell, even a Niqab is better because at least the eyes are clear even if the rest of the body is still a massive cloak.
So instead of reducing vision and movement for criminals, you're going to force a minority to wear clothes you deem "acceptable".
For criminals. What? This is about police uniforms.
No this is about how much of a bigot you are.
I said hijabs were fine and if you really wanted to make a stretch, that you could possibly make a case for niqabs. But niqabs are kinda going over the line as far as uniforms go too though.
It's too late to backpedal now.
there is no such thing as "backpedaling"

it's possible to convey your thoughts poorly and then rephrase what you meant

it's also possible to straight-up change your mind in the middle of an argument

it's possible to be okay with hijabs, yet not okay with burqas

The fact that this could even be described as an "epidemic" is just so fucking hysterical to me.

I've never had a dream like this before--some cute girl I was hanging out with nonchalantly asked me out. It wasn't anyone I knew in real life, or anything--she was attractive but I didn't recognize her at all. I mean, I knew her in the context of the dream, but when I eventually woke up, I realized I had no idea who that was meant to be.

Anyway, we went out, and it was nice. We didn't fuck or anything--we just hung out and did stupid cutesy first date stuff. Without going into details, it was clear that she was really into me, which felt very weird. The most interesting part, though, was that I was really sad when it came time for me to wake up. Like, genuine pit-in-the-stomach sadness.

It sounds stupid, but that dream made me realize how nice it would be to actually have somebody like that in my life right now. I'm still in no rush to get one or anything--and I'm not gonna let this dream bother me too much--but after having a little taste of what it's like to be wrapped around someone's finger (or vice versa), I think I can finally empathize with emotions like loneliness.

« on: September 09, 2016, 12:14:22 AM »
Considering your average voter doesn't know what Aleppo is either, I don't see why they would be concerned.
Because they're not the ones who necessarily need to know about Aleppo. They're not the ones trying to assume the most powerful and influential office in the world. "Ignorant" is one of the last things you want your president to be.

Megathreads keep clutter out. I don't needs to see thread about every little stupid-ass thing people have to say about Overwatch or Battlefield One or whatever.

The fact that there are old threads on the first page doesn't really mean anything.

studies show that those who drink wine tend to live longer, fyi
Yeah, like, one glass.

Nothing that can't be replicated by more intelligent things (like exercise), and no healthy amount of wine will get you drunk.

It's all about tone. We all know damn well if Hillary asked that they would've been more lenient in their reaction. It would've been a less aggressive "WWHHAATT?!?!?!?!"
The guy, quite calmly, said this: "You're kidding."

You can complete the dex in Gen 1 (I think Gen 2 as well) all by yourself if you exploit simple glitches, which is nice.
Doesn't that go against the developer's intentions? How is that different from modding?
Modding is the act of crudely Human Centipeding third party software into a game's files, often with little regard for the game's internal logic (ie. whether it makes sense to have Twilight Sparkle running around the Capital Wasteland).

Glitches, while not intended to exist by the developers, are still technically part of the game. They are mistakes and oversights--but they're the developers' mistakes and oversights. So I'm totally okay with exploiting them.

Not to mention, I've been a Pokémon fan since before I even knew how to read. I've played all the games and beaten them all several times--especially the older ones. I think I've sort of "earned" the right to play around and experiment with the games' many imperfections.

the only reason i use pokeballs is because i have ocd

starter pokemon, gift and egg pokemon all come out of a pokeball, therefore any mon on my team must also come out of a pokeball

uniformity
ah, that's how you do it

I work a bit differently, because that's not uniformity to me. A Mewtwo in a regular Poké Ball just doesn't sit right in my head--it belongs in the Master Ball. Most powerful Pokémon -> most powerful Poké Ball. It's also purple, so it couldn't be any more perfect.
