Seriously, though: Duke Nukem Forever.
Nope, Street Fighter V.
Meming aside, I'll give you worst launch of the decade.
MCC says "hi"
I dunno. Do you know how bad SFV's launch was? In MCC, at least you had single player to hold you over.

Anyone else cringe at the OP image? Seems very edgy.
I think that's the idea.

No Mans Sky LIED TOif no man's sky is the worst game of the decade, then this is the best decade for video games that there ever will be never mind games like duke nukem forever, which are actually bad, and had 17 some-odd years of build-up for an offensively broken waste of resources that tries harder than rocketman's sense of humor

Surely you can't be serious. I, independent video game consumer Vaughn Curry, strongly believe that if anything, No Man's Sky is the BEST game of the decade. There's just so much to do! Did you know that two players have met each other already? Truly amazing!
Of course I'm not serious. It's a genuinely good game, and I'm making fun of all the people who overreacted about the lies.

No PC game is GOTD-worthy, sorry.
LISA is
Doesn't look that special.
Yeah. Get back to me when you're lying in the fetal position at night tearing up after you beat the game. You wanna talk about video games being art? LISA is probably in the top three most artistic games I've ever played.
You've forgotten that according to Verb a game can't be good if it's not on a console.
^ yeah idiot

So if you have the Sun monkey in a double battle with Shedinja and it dies, you can give it Wonder Guard?
It would seem so, yeah. That means only Psychic and Flying-types could harm it.

Perhaps things would be easier to narrow down if we looked at the GOTYs from 2010 to now.

Miscibility /mɪsɨˈbɪlɨti/ is the property of substances to mix in all proportions, forming a homogeneous solution. Viviane Blais's defintion says "...saturated with water". Two drops of water can mix in all proportions and mix homogeneously. This can be demonstrated with two types of water: e.g., water and heavy water. Not only do the two forms of water mix uniformly, but they will exchange deuterons to form HDO.
In this sense, water is wet. OH MY FUCKING GOD GET NO SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPED

Tbh I really liked Halo 2's ending.
I haven't played through the game, but I know that it's a cliffhanger. That can't be the only reason people didn't like it, though... right?

And I don't get why you seem to think the right hinders progress. Because it's in the name. Conserve-ative. The goal of a conservative is to preserve the status quo. They hate progress. Change is scary to them. That's why they're called a conservative.

And yes, I realize I sound like one of those "hurrrr both are wrong I'm independant lol" autists.
Do you also realize that acknowledging this doesn't change the fact?

A game of the decade should have an exemplary multiplayer AND single player experience long after its shelf life. Halo: CE had a very weak single player campaign, which should automatically bar it from discussion.
You might think that's an unreasonably high standard, but we're talking game of the decade here.
Halo 2 is considered to have the best campaign of the original 3 games and its online matchmaking system is the reason why console online multiplayer exploded in popularity and continues to thrive to this day
Sure, absolutely. Didn't people get super butthurt about Halo 2's ending, though? But yeah, that's great and all, but I still don't think "kickstarting online multiplayer" is a good enough GotD seller. Had Halo never been a franchise, online multiplayer would've exploded anyway with some other series. Giving Halo all the credit for winning that lottery (so to speak) seems silly and arbitrary to me.

You might love Halo: CE, but it aged like a fruit fly.
As much as I hate it, I can't deny the impact Halo 1 had on consoles. Verb pls
That was a general "you," not you specifically. Sorry.

Oh, this also implicitly confirms that there will be no more eeveelutions for this gen, which I'm okay with.
Still an absurdly long animation. Notice how they're all frozen in stasis, because having eight separate eeveelutions moving at once would probably be too intense for the system? That really bugs me, but whatever.
