What happens when you have a full decade dominated by right-wing policy? The Great Depression, apparently.
The Great Depression was caused almost exclusively by poor management by the Fed, established only 17 years before the stock market crash by a democratic Congress and president, and was worsened by terrible protectionist policy by the reactionary democratic Congress of the 1930s and FDR's New Deal.
Is that the historic, commonly agreed-upon conclusion, or is that your conclusion? I appreciate you chiming in, because I'm not a history buff, but I just wanna make sure I'm not being fed bullshit.

LMFAO

Hey Verbatim. I voted for Donald Trump. What are you gonna do about it?
Everything in my power to defy his stupid ass.

It was never great.
Alright let's calm down a little
When, then? I'll give you the '20s, that's it.
You think America was at its greatest during a period of constant Republican government, national debt reductions, tax cuts, harsher laws on immigration and a decline in the power of the labour movement?

2016 really is fucked up.
More that it's consistently cited by most historians as the most prosperous decade in American history--so I'd be remiss if I didn't make such a concession there.

That said, we all know what immediately followed that period, and that's why I don't feel as enthusiastic about it.

The concept of normality is completely dependent on the culture the individual is brought up in.
Therefore, given that you live in Western society, you should know EXACTLY what is categorized as normal in your culture, instead of taking this retarded "lol i'm so above it all" approach. You're not above anything.

Yes, I know. The answer is because they're fucking insanely stupid.
This is why Trump came to power.
Is this like Jeopardy, where I give the answer and you state the question?

Yes, the reason why Trump came to power is because people are fucking DUMB.

Except you weren't able to describe why those things were objectively abnormal.
That's not what I was trying to do. They are objectively abnormal for our social climate, because they all speak to one's inability to tap in to what's socially acceptable. What's socially acceptable? Whatever the fuck the average person says.

There's a condition for people like you who are unable to tap in to our social climate. You know what that is?

Autism.

What does "being normal" mean?
"everyone is weird in their own way lul, so i can't figure out what normal is"
Pretty much.
It's not that hard.

You may not be able to pinpoint exactly what "normal" is, but you should absolutely be able to point out what "normal" isn't. Once you've weeded out all those things, you have an idea of what's normal.

Listening to and enjoying Forms of Paper by Steve Roden is not normal.
Watching and enjoying A Serbian Film is not normal.
Reading and enjoying Mein Kampf is not normal.
Eating slime molds and fungus you scraped off a piece of tree bark is not normal.
Taking a dump on the living room floor and leaving it there is not normal.
Saying "BEEP!" every five seconds, non-stop, no matter what, is not normal.

Holy shit this is easy.

12401
Trump will make America great again.
He won't make it great. It was never great. You fucking mindless sycophantic piece of wheedling shit.

If he lost and didn't accept the results, I wouldn't give one fucking iota.

Find a new useless point to make.
Damn Verb, at this rate the price of salt is going to plummet if you keep flooding the markets with so much of it.
Won't stop until every occupiable space in the universe has at least one grain of salt in it.

12405
I bet you believe conservatives saying the same thing four years ago were acting childish.
Absolutely not.

In other news, I've been trying to finish up Yellow on VC. I need to raise my pokes' levels before I'm comfortable taking on Koga or Sabrina, but I haven't even gone to Saffron yet, so there's still plenty of trainers to fight. The Safari Zone has been occupying most of my time recently.

I didn't bother saving TMs to do Yellow's tedious Missingno. glitch. This is a comfy run with the four starters. Jolteon is ready to take over for Pikachu if it becomes too much of a burden, but Pika's been taking regular steroid injections (vitamins and rare candies) so I'm not too concerned.
Saffron is easily the least fun part of Gen I, imo

silph co is the worst

i can't get over the stupidity of voting for someone whose pro-life when you yourself are pro-choice--ESPECIALLY a woman

i can't do it

12410
I'm not willing.
You're not willing to merely consider a possibility?
Nope! I won't even consider considering it. And I think I've made that abundantly clear over the past few days.

Fuck Donald Trump. He is not my president and anyone who voted for him is my enemy.

The point I'm trying to get across is that you really don't have a leg to stand on when you go and vote for X party that you know isn't going to win, then proceed to throw a conniption fit when Y party you didn't vote for ends up losing to Z party you didn't vote for. This is especially true for those who live in swing states.
This really doesn't stand to reason, though. I'm allowed to be upset that enough people voted for Trump for him to win--and who I vote for is completely irrelevant. The fact is, voting for Hillary wouldn't have taken away any of Trump's votes. If Trump lost, I would have been just as livid that he even made it so far.
Did you ever stop to consider why people would want a candidate like Trump in the first place,l et alone vote him into office? The answer isn't because they're low information btw.
Yes, I know. The answer is because they're fucking insanely stupid.

Just completed my first ever Gen I nuzlocke on 3DS. Survivors: Raticate, Pidgeot, Fearow, Vaporeon, Gyarados. Not the most exciting team ever, but they did it. Raticate and Pidgeot were with me since Routes 1 & 2, so I'm particularly happy that they survived. I brought a Kabutops to the Elite 4 as well, but he died to Lorelei after missing four Submissions in a goddamn row.

In total, there were 26 deaths. I'll be transferring the survivors to Moon when the time comes.

Yeah, you can still get hyped for the new production of the Genesis.

The Genesis was pretty great though.

Notice something?
wtf

Why is this even a thing.

12420
Why is any one obligated to give him a "chance"

He does bad, fuck him. He does good, great. There's no such thing as "chances" here.
You don't get to throw a temper tantrum just because your candidate didn't win. That's not how democracy works.
It's how free speech works, though.
