Star Wars is science-fantasy, not fiction, so there's no real need for an explanation. It's literal space magic.
Don't tell Jacob "Fun is for Natalists" Potila that.
napalm asked me my last name specifically for this post

I remember the proctor I took my test with frowning while he wrote some shit on his clipboard, telling me I turned into the wrong lane once, and then pausing about ten seconds before he's like "...but you still passed". I was nervous as fuck the whole time.

He did that on purpose, the bastard.
You shouldn't have passed if you did something like that.

gay shit

Anyone ever notice how Liquid is basically just Dio? His appearance and entire story matches Dio's perfectly. Maybe Kojima was inspired by the character or something.
shut the fuck up

Still haven't taken my own test yet. The fear is so crippling and intense that I've taken to riding the bus instead. It's free since I'm a student. My permit lasts until January, but it'll probably go to waste.

Come to think of it, Pelipper does have Roost...
Roost, Scald, Hurricane, Defog, Ice Beam, and U-Turn. It'll be a beast in doubles.

Pelliper actually has quite the movepool at it's disposal:

Well, I meant things it has over Politoed specifically. Scald and Ice Beam are a given--Politoed has those for days. I've always thought U-turn was overrated, especially if you have low attack and speed (which Pelipper does--it's awful).

Hurricane, Roost, Defog, and Knock Off are definitely nice, though. Can't glaze over those. I like Tailwind, too.

he also said "ask not what your country can" you know the rest--which is one of the dopest things ever said by a president

for me, it's not just what they accomplished in office--it's the messages they spread to the public that resonate with me, too, and JFK was not only a deft speaker, but an effective messenge-sender as well--one of the best we've ever had

so that's why i still like him

You know, with Drizzle Pelliper, I think I'm gonna build a rain team this gen. Pelliper/Mega Swampert combo would be absolutely insane.
Do you think it's that big? I've been using rain since Gen 5, and the nicest thing about it that I can think of is that I can switch between Politoed and Pelipper to get instant rain rather than having to rely on one of them. The downside is that I still have to use Politoed and Pelipper, and they're both forced to hold a Damp Rock to be of any real use.

Pelipper on its own doesn't seem to have a lot going for it. Less bulk, no moves, meh typing.

It's great and I think it's better than the first. The ending segment(final fight) is bit disappointing though.

So Nintendo are dishing out permanent bans for people who played the leaked/pirated version of sun/moon online.

Justice.
woah really

HAHAHA GET FUCKED

the shitty nice thing about star wars is that you can point to any stupid inconsistency with the plot and justify it with "the force"

this mostly applies to the OT, though--the prequels managed to use (not abuse) this justification in many clever ways--especially since they put a tangible, grasp-able science behind the force with midi-chlorians, rather than just have it be incomprehensible magicky bullshit

it makes sense that a force-sensitive would have microscopic life forms in their bloodstream trying to protect them, just like we have microscopic life forms trying to protect us in the real world

it doesn't make sense that a force-sensitive can just magic himself out of any bad situation for the sake of plot convenience
