Probably the most fucked up thing about the election is that, as much as any person with an IQ above 20 would want it to happen, Trump cannot die under any circumstances, unless we kill Mike Pence too. Because he's even worse.
We are so interdimensionally fucked. Hieronymus Bosch has created more uplifting nightmares.

“Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is.” - Yoda
Spoiler R.I.P (((Carrie Fisher))). 2016 was one god awful year. Holy fuck I never noticed that she echoed until now.
Rejoice everyone. One less Jew in Hollywood.
jews are amazing and deserve to rule the world
They already are
They've earned it.

Back on topic, though: I suppose I could post that Charlie Chaplin speech that everyone seems to like so much:

Weak people are affected by them.
Speeches can be an effective way of consolidating and conveying an already agreed-upon conclusion; such as fighting the Nazis.
There's nothing wrong with being emotionally inspired about a principle or argument or whatever of which you have already established the rational validity.
I never said they weren't effective at galvanizing people--I just think people shouldn't need to be galvanized. That's my new philosophy: Shouldn'tism. Where I fuck David Hume in the ass with his own fork.

Speeches are an extremely overrated method of conveying messages. Too often do they involve manipulative pathos to get their points across, which destroys the integrity of all rational discourse. Weak-minded people are affected by them.

Sadly I don't really play anything anymore. I think my interest for a lot of games just went. And I always work.
ah, that's a shame well, if you ever find yourself wanting to pick it up again, hmu--i'll probably stick around with it until the bitter end

I remember when SF was good, like real good
Yeahhhh. I am liking a lot of S2's changes, though. I don't think I went into them as much as I wanted to. Do you still play?

what if the game is good but the story is trite or the VA is garbage
I usually turn off voice acting when I can. In some cases, like Devil Survivor, the acting just isn't that good. In nearly every case, it's just suuuuper slow and not worth waiting after I've already read the subtitles for it to finish.
personally, i derive a LOT of entertainment from bad voice actingit can make an otherwise average game a lot funnier, so it's win/win for me

yet you still need a PC to do it on either platform (like you just said), making it easier to do on PC by default
it requires the same amount of time and effort to do on either
as ive mentioned who would play online would have access to the internet solely for online games
im sure they exist, in very little numbers, along with the subscription fee they have to pay to play online
but i digress
It's big enough to make me think twice about PC players when matched against them. you maybe right, but who know
how would that make PC a much worse experience than console if it happens on both, if neither of us (afaik) has ran into one online
is our experience of the game that badly impacted by hackers that the games we play are ruined by them or are you afraid of running into someone you have an incredibly small chance of running into Neither, it's just principle. I've run into a total of three macro players in SFV, and they all played on PC. And sure, that doesn't mean they're ALL on PC, but I dunno, it's sort of abundantly clear to me that most of them are on PC. It's not really something I ever thought I'd have to defend. isnt sfv cross platform
can you choose to play against ps4 people only
Yes to both, but in doing so, you're basically cutting the pool of active players in half, which is not something you really want to do when it can take 5+ minutes to find one match w/ a 5-bar connection. And again, it's something I probably shouldn't have to worry about on principle anyway.

You guys know the CGI thing isn't new right?
The main actor in The Crow died on set and they had to finish the movie with CGI. This was back in the 90's, at least.
It's not new, but it's never been done on this level before.

as far as im aware you were stating pc was worse because it was vulnerable to people manipulating the leaderboards or cheating online
that was an extra sentence i added to say that you need a pc to do this
how many people would you say who play games online will have at least 1 working pc in their house and if not only paying for the internet just to play games online i mean, more and more people nowadays are selling their consoles outright and becoming "PC gamers," and most PC gamers do tend to mod the shit out of their games so i don't think it's terribly far-fetched to assume that most people who cheat online are indeed PC gamers

1. servers are just pcs for storing and managing data, whether its data for the console or pc version of the game is the same to hackers
it depends on the specific security software of those servers
2. youre modifying the controller not the game
yet you still need a PC to do it on either platform (like you just said), making it easier to do on PC by default
11426
« on: December 27, 2016, 07:36:34 PM »
of course you would still need a pc for either of these well, there you go, then
11427
« on: December 27, 2016, 07:35:20 PM »
nope
the servers for both pc and console are just that
bla bla bla
okay but specifically what about any of this means that it's not more difficult to do on console i'm really not interested in these technical details, sorry
11428
« on: December 27, 2016, 07:26:24 PM »
how does that make messing up the leaderboards any different from pc then these arent mods, these are just button events, you can do the same on console
you can program an arduino as an xinput and just have buttons that activate perfectly timed joystick events
or you could just send voltage through the gamepad pcb for each button if you want to take apart your controller instead
i could show you some example code to show you how easy it is to manipulate this with a cheap arduino, and it would most definitely be easier than finding a way to remotely modify serverside data
is it not much easier to do these things on PC than it is on console whether it's technically a "mod" or not literally doesn't matter--the idea is still there that you're fucking with the game when you shouldn't be, and that's a lot more prevalent on PC than it is on console

i could build a quality fight stick for cheap
arduino leonardos are grape
can you build something that prevents people from modding the game and taking it online
what do you mean mods are clientside
then why have i seen people take mods online
and fuck with the leaderboards and shit
have you got proof
yes as for leaderboards being messed up, check out the scores for any level on littlebigplanet they've all just been fucked up by people who hack the game and make their score 99999999999
