Well, it's just one movie, so that makes it easier for me.

why'd they pick such a no-name director
Well he did direct the highest rated tv episode of all time (Ozymandias from Breaking Bad).
that's what you call a flash in the pan

There's a massive chasm between believing any sort of deity exists, and not; much less so for believing one characterization of a deity exists, rather than a selection of others.
I agree before the semicolon. There's just as great a chasm--if not greater--between monotheism and polytheism.

I think the argument about 3000 vs 2999 gods is a bit disingenuous; it's a common belief among theologians (of any creed) that varying religions are simply manifestations of the same god in different cultures
“Basically, you deny one less interpretation of god than I do,” he said. “You don’t believe in 2,999 interpretations of god. And I don’t believe in just one more.” There you go.

i am torturing myself with subs though A good portion of those shows have better dubs than subs though.
indeed--i would say 100% of them have better dubs because japanese people are genetically incapable of doing good voice acting, period but i'm in it for the authenticity, because 1. dubs often contain gratuitous censorship which is bad 2. there are certain puns that only work in japanese that i'd miss out on

Can't comment on a dub though, dubs are for faggots.

Lots of grammar/structural issues, but I'll try to focus mainly on the content. Your style here is that of many urgent sentence fragments describing many things frenetically, like a schizophrenic--not a style I'm personally fond of. It's kinda cheesy, but I won't let that affect my overall critique.
I'll get the stuff I liked out of the way, I guess. This is the only line I thought was pretty good: "A pale woman in her crimson nightgown. Crazed look in her bloodshot eyes. Kitchen knife in her hands." The imagery here is cool, and it's written with the appropriate degree of urgency. I could've used a little more detail, maybe, but it's not bad at all.
Now for the not-so-good stuff:
Lots of redundant sentences, and a couple bad literary cliches. I'm sure you can come up with something more original than "I ran as fast as I could."
Is this an excerpt from something? Because I feel like there's a lot of things you just bring up at complete random. The parcel, the rocky bridge, the odd package... These things just sort of come up, as though their existence was previously established, but they weren't--so it's a little jarring to read.
There seems to be a lot of information missing between paragraphs 2 and 3. Paragraph 2 ends with the protagonist driving his Mustang away from the woman, but then paragraph 3 begins with him (or her) finding a horse carriage to ride in instead. What the hell happened to the car? Where is this person even going?
The antagonistic force(s) are pretty unclear--which may be intentional, but it's confusing. You refer to this "Him" character in the first paragraph, but then there's this crazy woman in a red gown, too. But after the protagonist escapes from her, the very next line is, "he was still after me." Not knowing who "he" is makes this entire sequence confusing and unclear for the reader. At least for me--and I read it over twice.
Some of your sensory descriptions could use a little work. Describing a stench as "distinct" does not quite help us understand what the stench smells like, so instead of putting us in the story, it's actually keeping us away. But when you're describing things, you don't want to go overboard, either. Just give us something.
I'm not sure if that blatant Pink Floyd reference was intentional, but it gave me a good cringe. I'd 86 that. This line made me wince, too: "He tried calming me down. I complied to his sincere efforts in doing so." Read that to yourself and tell me it doesn't sound awkward.
What I gather from the penultimate paragraph is that the woman saved the protagonist from Him, is that right? It wasn't written very clearly, but I think that's what was going on there. I'd be lying if I said I understood the ending--was the protagonist just playing a video game the whole time? Eh, whatever, it doesn't really matter.
Needs work. It's not fundamentally broken. You have material here--it just needs fleshing out. Right now, it's very threadbare. Add some more paragraphs with stunning detail. Fix up the messy bits. You'll have yourself a story.

I think there's a clear difference between the emotional response from someone yelling,"bomb!" in an airport and someone yelling "nigger!" Fear for one's life isn't the same thing as rage, and I don't think people should be held as accountable for fearing for their lives as they should be for behaving violent out of rage. What they share in common is their capacity to be controlled. You can fear for your life, but not panic. You can be pissed off, but not become violent. I've feared for my life before--not panicking did me wonders.

No I don't believe it is. Saying, "X are the problem," or, "Y are some derogatory term" does not equate to, "we should attack X or Y and/or their property. One can just as well have the attitude that they need to help X or Y instead of feeling the need to get rid of or attack X or Y after hearing rhetoric against them.
I understand that some people are going to get emotional to the point that they snap and become violent, but I don't think it should ever be accepted as something that's okay to do, and as long as someone is not supporting violence as a course of action then I believe they have a right to express their ideas.
All right. So it's not okay to yell "bomb!" because it elicits a dangerous emotional response out of people, but it's perfectly acceptable to belittle people past their breaking point--even though that also elicits a dangerous emotional response. I guess I just don't see your throughline here. If you're the type of person who snaps when they're called a certain derogatory term, do you think it's going to matter to you whether it's """okay""" to become violent? Do you think you'd care? Why should you care?

I don't believe a verbal insult equates to physical violence.
But could a verbal insult equate to (or lead to) an incitement to violence? If so, where do you draw the line?

I didn't say anyone was stupid, I only expected that they would understand. The only person I've said was a fool was myself.
Read your post again--" maybe I'm just optimistic about the capacity of other people's understanding"--and tell me that doesn't seem condescending as hell. It's not about people's lack of understanding--it's about the importance of specificity in a discussion of something as delicate, broad, and nuanced as free speech. Anyway, you've established a limitation to free speech--shouting "bomb!" in a crowded theater is not okay. I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and ask, why not? It doesn't hurt anybody. It causes people to panic, but that has nothing to do with me or what I've done. Maybe people should control their emotions. Maybe people shouldn't just take word from random strangers. How is that any different than calling a nigger a nigger and then getting beat up for it? Both times, I never hurt anybody. Why are you trying to inhibit my free speech? I'm just making sure you have an understanding of why you believe what you believe.

Please, don't conflate controversial ideas and beliefs with something like yelling, "bomb!" in an airport.
But you did say that all speech is free speech. You can't just fuck around with words like "all" if that's not what you mean.
I'm sorry, it's just an expression. Most people I've encountered don't take it so literally in the context of this argument.
We're talking about speech and whether it's okay to censor it, so I'd elect to choose my words very carefully.
I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and expect that they'll understand the expression and its exceptions. I suppose it's a bit foolish but maybe I'm just optimistic about the capacity of other people's understanding.
So if I say that all X are Y, and you provide me with a counterexample that demonstrates otherwise, I can just turn around and say, "Well, it was just an expression; I guess you were just too stupid to understand that." That's kinda nifty, I'll have to keep that in mind.

They'll put this in

I thought the extended universe isn't cannon, no?
"Non-canon" does not mean "never will be canon again." They've already brought back some elements from the EU in Rogue One.

There's no earthly way of knowing Which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're rowing Or which way the river's flowing
Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing?
Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing
Are the fires of Hell a-glowing?
Is the grisly reaper mowing?
YES
The danger MUST be growing, for the rowers keep on rowing!Spoiler AND THEY'RE CERTAINLY NOT SHOWINGSpoiler ANY SIGNS THAT THEY ARE SLOWING
