"New" is overrated. Rehash all the old concepts you want--just make it good.

Yeah same, I thought it looked dope from the beginning.

Though the only two "naysayers" towards this game I've ever seen are Yutaka and LC, who are both shit taste losers, so who cares.

I get mixed results every time I show my parents new music. My mother hates Swans, but my dad digs them.

What's keeping you occupied then?
college, work, my deteriorating sanity

mostly college, and all the financial issues that come with it

starting to question whether any of this is even worth it

What are your thoughts on the Le Mans 24 hour race of 1955?
What an incredible waste of life.

Something a litltle more serious.

Let's say a friend or family member is murded. What do you think you would you do? Let legal law run it's course or take your own measures?

Your country is invaded by an outside force that's gaining ground on territory. Join the army or strike out on your own? Alternatively, flee or do nothing?

You're stranded in deep wilderness. You have no idea what plants kill you and what plants don't. Would you hunt animals if you had to or just opt to starve?

If you were going to murder somebody and you didn't want to get caught, how do you think you'd do it?

Ever think you'll end up with a close partner in your life?

How long do your figure you'll be alive for?

What's your game plan for that estimated number of years you'll be living?

How do you think you'll get along when the time inevitiably comes that you'll put your parents to rest?

Favorite kind of candy if any?
- Neat as it would be to do vigilante work, I don't think I'd really have it in me--if my parents were killed, I think all they'd want for me is to move on, be happy, and make something of myself in spite of their death. So that's probably what I'd intend on doing, honestly

- That really depends on who the enemy is and what their motives are, but in all likelihood, I'd probably just flee--I'm a pacifist at heart, and I'd have to have be on some kind of crazy shit to just join the military

- I know more about plants than I do about properly consuming game (e.g. killing the animal in the first place, building the fire, skinning the animal, etc) so honestly, I'd almost certainly try my luck with the plants. If I poison myself, so be it; that sounds far less horrid than killing another animal just to extend mine own life

- Oh, I'd get caught. Forensics has come such a long way. If I didn't want to get caught, but knew that I probably would anyway, I'd probably just slip something in their drink. That shit can be traced on autopsy, though--there's no such thing as a perfect crime.

- Maybe. Not in the next five years, though, at least. I'm still trying to figure my own life out. If there's one thing chicks dig, it's guys who have their shit together--and I, unfortunately, don't. So we'll just have to see.

- I'll be surprised if I hit 80.

- I can't say I really have one. I've never been terribly concerned with my own longevity. If I had any interest, I'd eat healthier, exercise, make a lot of friends, go out more, laugh a lot, and just be carefree and happy. Develop a joie de vivre the likes of which I've never had since early childhood. Consistently, those are always the first few things that are brought up whenever super-centenarians are asked what the key to longevity is. I'm inclined to believe them.

- Hopefully by then, I'll be a well-adjusted adult, having learned everything I could about life from them. I'd be crushed either way, but it would be much easier to swallow if I weren't so dependent on them. I think I'd be fine, knowing it was inevitable--but life on earth for me from that point forward would get considerably darker either way.

- Anything sour. Warheads are amazing.

have you ever given any thought to writing music? it seems like that would mesh two passions of yours into one.
eh, maybe--poetry was never really my bag

never say never, but i don't really see that happening
Can you send me angry poetry to make angry punk rock music out of?
i don't trust myself not to make it cringey

To further that, would you for example...

...eat a Shark if it meant it saved several seals?

Would you do the same to a different Shark if it meant it only saved several people?
Yes and yes

Yeah I saw this prison documentary and the guy raped a little girl, but like apart from that he was what you would think is a good person.

I don't know, I don't think you can be a good person and do things like that.
i know what you mean

it's complicated--i'd have dinner, play video games, chill out, etc. with someone like das, but i probably wouldn't let him near my daughter

"bad person" and "good person" aren't very nuanced labels, so maybe attempting to use them is a fool's errand

Do you wanna build fascism?
We'll be like Pinochet...
Make commies whine about class war
Oppress the poor, beat up on someone gay!
We used to be white brothers, and now we're not.
I wish you would tell me why.
Do you wanna build fascism?
It doesn't have to be fascism...
where would you be without /pol/

Obviously shit like rape is just irredeemable but I don't know. I think people make their choices and they'll kind of always be a certain way.

Let's say like a dude who drinks and hits his wife and kids and steals etc, what do you think?
i'd probably place him under the same rack as the rapist

i think anyone is capable of atoning oneself--even rapists and murderers--the hard part is regaining people's respect

so i think you can be a good person no matter what, but you can't change the state of your reputation
