The sheer amount of Women who will only work part time is dragging the performance of the NHS down immensely IMO.

You better come up north and experience what true England is like.

635
Well I've never had someone I've been interested in that's never talked to me.
Me and you... We can definitely be friends.

Hello bby.

When a UK citizen says "we should have stricter immigration control" they generally mean A) remove the EU backed privilege to move to any country without that country being able to reject you (unless you have a particularly egregious crimes in which case either the parent country wants you back and we send you packing or they don't and we have to stick them in our prisons) and/or B) put a system in place so when people cross the border without identity we don't have to shelter them.
I'm still skeptical. Xenophobia runs deep.

Oh yeah. The north is crawling with xenophobes. The thing is the xenophobia generally runs from  problems that could have been looked at but have been completely ignored.

Seriously I wouldn't want to go to the UK. I've talked to some British people and they tell me it's like the government wrote the laws while referring to 1984.

Just wait a few years. The EU is trying to ban incorrect speech LOL.
Fucking what?

There are two or three bills circulating in the EU upper management about restricting the spectrum of speech and making talking about some topics or holding certain positions a crime.

views that they wanna ban:
Taxation is theft.
Anti-feminism.
holocaust denialism.
Nationalism.
Anti-Multi-culturalism.

The Flood / Re: Where will the US be in 100 years?
« on: August 03, 2014, 01:18:04 PM »
Well the current US will be split up into three countries. The east coast will voluntarily join the new Federalised United Kingdom with Canada, Ireland, GB and the British overseas territories. Texas will be independent once again and the rest of the land will form a new country.

"For example Andrew "Weev" Auernheimer was sentenced to 41 months in prison for exposing a security hole on AT&T's servers that publicly revealed iPad users' email addresses. The court ruled that the "loss" to AT&T in his case was $73,000"

Lolwot? "Hey guys don't use this companies internet because at the moment all Ipad users emails are publicly shown" = 41 months in prison. Did I just read that right or did he "show" them their error by hacking/etc. them?

Actually, yes
Sounds like a less-crazy version of Live Free or Die Hard.

This law was the leading factor in Aaron Swartz's suicide, he was looking down the barrel of this law and couldn't handle it. Federal conviction rate is 90+%
Good news for if we can actually catch this guy/guys/whatever. I would pay cash money to sit in on his trial for attacking this forum.

Actually, I would probably have to show up anyway :o.

pls stream as Rose gets a three year prison sentence.

The Flood / Re: Do you think Zombies are realistic?
« on: August 03, 2014, 12:58:02 AM »
Just want to point out that the doctors in the zombie movies never thought it was possible, either...

And armies in war films have little understanding of strategy, and main characters in action films have magic character shields that protect them from environmental damage etc.
Well, of course. The main character can't die; how else would they save the day?

to quote my brother "(I) am at my happiest when everyone in a film dies horribly."

Don't know what I'd do with them but I'd be interested to take a look. If you don't mind that is.

If Israel just systematically eliminated all Palestinians via some sort of death camps, it would be a final solution to this conflict.
What a twist.

Well they already had an ethnic cleansing at the end of the British mandate.

Lol the NSA has been doing this to us for years. Welcome to the big leagues.

Kid we were the base for Orwell's novel because we displayed those traits while he was writing 1984.

This is amazing news if it's legit. I'll have to read up on this later.

It's legit. Though the results from NASA (see: credible results) make it only useful for small unmanned probes.

London is huge, there are hundreds, thousands of things to do, best advice I can give you is to spend a whole day just travelling across the whole city, by foot and by tube, go everywhere and then if you spot specific things just go for it.

And if you are heading outside London, here in the South we have tons of shit, real countryside.

You have to, and I mean HAVE to, walk around Central London, whilst wearing your most American attire, eating a burger, and saying very american things to yourself. And just see their faces

I get the feeling that you're trying to get the shit beaten out of me with that last one.

Joking aside, the average britbong has very good manners. Just avoid eye contact with people and you'll get along fine, that's not because of any spontaneous eruptions of violence caused by it, but because people tend to keep their heads down and mind their own business more than anything.

As for what to do in the sultanate of Londonistan, you should visit some of the museums <.<
The natural history museum is my favourite but that's if you like huge collections of dinosaur bones and the like. The british museum is basically a gigantic trophy rack of 'shit we stole in the glory days of the empire', it's certainly worth a look.

You can always go sight seeing and see Big Bong and pray that it's not Six Bong when you do <.<
Westminster is a fancy building even if it is full of twats. The London Eye is cool too. London Zoo is certainly worth a visit <.<

This is mostly stuff that I enjoyed in London though, since I love the natural world/history and museums and the like so yeah <.<

Oh and if anyone screams YE FOOKIN WOT M8?! Then start running. Don't look back either, or you'll turn to stone >.>

The Imperial war museum is a very good visit as well.

Try and get a Full English

A what?
This wonderful little breakfast
Spoiler
Just try black pudding at least. It's an acquired taste but it's so hard to find in America so you might not ever get a chance to try it again. It's delicious IMO.

Fucking finally! I've met an Anglo on the net that likes black pudding. Otherwise known as fried pigs blood.
Your one of the few Brits I've met on here that actually likes it. I've only ever had it once in my life when I had a family member from the UK that came to visit and prepared it. It's been my life goal to try it again. Simply delicious stuff.

Damn it, Your not an Anglo! Ah well, I still have to find some Anglo's on the net who like black pudding.

bump?

My thread came first. Maybe a merge for a combined Ebola thread?
