Serious / Re: Are fedora/edge comments tools for the ignorant?« on: August 18, 2014, 06:22:57 AM »Of course. It's just Christians being desperate try hards to try and bring down people who don't follow their cult. It's almost always used by ignorant Americans who think the world revolves around America. Pretty sure the new politic groups latched onto the word before the Christians did. 548

Serious / Re: Middle East friendship chart« on: August 17, 2014, 03:36:20 PM »It's funny how this has actually caused America and Iran to work together on this a bit. The entirety of the Anglo-spheres problems with Iran is because of western backed coup in the seventies. You don't normally make friends with nations by removing their humanist and secular governments because they are competition. 551

IS are exceptional in the way they got every single power in the middle east to hate them.

Serious / Re: Immigration is good; it's pretty fucking awesome, in fact« on: August 16, 2014, 02:38:13 AM »
I have no problem with immigration. As a capitalist it would be hypocritical for me to take issue with it. What I don't like, however, is the favouring of European immigrants over other areas that such as China and Russia. The removal of the European favouritism would be beneficial to both the the country in the devolution of the power to accept or reject immigration and to the wider foreign population as people with a good work ethic and/or needed skills would have a higher chance of having their citizenship request accepted.

Serious / Re: Reasons why the UK sucks« on: August 15, 2014, 12:32:43 PM »In the 5 days I was in London I saw two people get hit by cars (one of which died) and I was almost hit myself about 15 times while walking on a green light crosswalk. The red light is merely a suggestion to those people. That's just London man. The most ignorant people on planet Earth inhabit that city. They should be considered a different nationality to everyone else in the country. 559

Gaming / Re: Worst fan base ever« on: August 14, 2014, 09:54:04 AM »Mass Effect has a really shitty fanbase. Most Mass Effect fans like all of the wrong aspects of the game. It's less of actual fandom of the game than it is a circlejerk almost entirely around Garrus, Liara, Tali, and FemShep. Alas I only have one like to give. 563
The Flood / Re: Got my A-level results back today« on: August 14, 2014, 09:46:28 AM »It's somewhat better than my A levels <.< 66% is still a merit for a soft degree and a 2-2/2-1 for a honours. 564
Serious / Re: Dear all those who support a living wage« on: August 14, 2014, 01:09:29 AM »Very, very, very rich man advocates for increased wages. The overall message, though, is that plutocrats are fucked. Yet he seems to miss the first lesson of value. The more of something there is the less valuable it is. He advocates increasing the minimum wage but then misses that because the minimum wage has been increased the value of each piece of currency will decrease as prices grow larger to fit the new state of affairs. 565

In a month I reckon the main bastions will have been brought down and then it'll just take a few weeks to run around and capture the villages that are controlled by minimal rebel population.

Serious / Re: Create a timeline of the development of your political beliefs« on: August 11, 2014, 02:54:35 PM »I'm noticing a trend here. . . I was a soft-core commie and statist between of the ages 13 and 16. Then I did a one eighty and dislike government monopoly of force and it's attempts to legislate positive morality. I'm now a minarchist, really soft nationalist, capitalist and soft technological determinist (i.e. great man + technological determinism). Lol. |
