The Flood / Re: From their very core, Americans are brits
« on: September 17, 2014, 05:36:37 PM »
Lol we stopped being brits when we kicked your pale ass back across the pond in 1776 you fucking imperialistic douchebags.

First it was the French who carried the americans through the revolutionary war (which wouldn't have happened if they accepted the 1772 envoy that was authorised to give them representation) and second it was in 1781. Lrn to history noob.

Social justice just like the other new politic ideologies are destructive cancers that need to be extinguished.

Then we're very different people. I'm really drawn to conflict. Always found it really interesting. Nothing quite like a good crisis to keep the world a fascinating place, eh?
That's fucking sick man, women are kidnapped and used as sex toys, children are either killed or brainwashed to become future fighters and men are generally murdered.
How is any of that fascinating??

How is it not fascinating? The rationalisations that must be made at the persona and cultural level for that practice to continue unabated, especially in an environment that tests the various sub-factions for those with the strongest culture, Geo-political and economic position.

Serious / Re: Political election in progress in Sweden
« on: September 15, 2014, 05:09:40 AM »
While the votes will not be completely counted until a couple of days, the results are clear already.

It's a victory for the left-wing Red-Green block. The right-wing block has gone down in popularity Moderate party won't be in charge. Good thing I say. The school and employment politics of he last eight years has been disastrous. The Moderates has made it easier for employers to fire employees from one day to another, without cause. Hopefully that'll be reversed now.

The nationalistic Sweden Democrats keep rising in popularity. The other parties will probably still refuse to work with them.

The equality party Feminist Initiative ultimately did not make it into the parliament.

That's all from the Swedish election.

Dunno why the fems want a party in your local laws when they already have the super-national EU in their pocket making dictates left, right and centre.

Will you make it so you're only notified if someone hits the "quote" button on your post? Or something?
I suppose it might be possible, but I'd have to gut the current build of whatever the hell the notification system is.

Tracking quotes might be difficult; the only method I could even begin to fathom would be checking for display names above quote boxes in messages.

You could add a multiple digit number into the quote system so that when the comment it posted in notifies the person with the pin they have been quoted.

I saw my background posted in a /pol/ thread and laughed so hard that I had to have it.

I don't like that second picture.

You can't call anything anarchist unless it lies literally along the very bottom of the chart.

Anyway, I'll do the test now.

You should add users' results to the OP, too.

It also puts progressiveism on the right which is so hilariously wrong it invalidates the whole chart.

Serious / Re: Great news from Aleppo, Syria
« on: September 14, 2014, 09:34:24 PM »
There was never any "moderate" rebels in Syria in the first place that would fit with the public definition of moderate. The FSA, Syrian Front, Al-Nusra, IS etc. are all Islamist (read: anti-west) organisations where the term moderate has come to mean "will not actively fly planes into western buildings and behead every third person".

And exception through Adblock still only allows ads intermittently for me... or are there just not ads on every page?
I'll look into it. I am experiencing the same thing.

Turned adblock off over a week ago and still never seen an add.

Both have their pros and cons
Funny how PC doesn't have any cons

Besides being expensive as fuck.

> One year of XBL + startup costs = one dedicated gaming PC with peripherals
> mfw consolers say a PC is expensive

Because that makes too much sense.

Literally this.

The Flood / Re: I feel British AMA
« on: September 13, 2014, 08:54:56 AM »
I find it funny that people always accuse Americans of being blinded by patriotism, when Brits are generally the most nationalist people out there.

> nationalism
> letting everyone be told what to do by foreigners because muh multiculturalism

As A Brit I don't see it, will admit we're pretty vocal of our heritage though.

Here's a solution for you guys to make it easier to get the correct color text:

When you enter in the color BBCode, put implying after the pound sign (#implying) and it will change to the correct color.
u r based god cheat. thank u

oh shit thats cool, but why not add it to the drop down colors?
Because I'm lazy. :P

I gotta say no. There's nothing wrong in having it separate. Less clutter, and things are easier to find.
