As long as they're applied fairly and actual transparency is promoted, I don't have a problem with these rules.
Come now, you don't honestly believe that all threads will be treated equally, do you? With no rules to follow, and only guidelines, the ninjas will go into different mind sets. Some will deem some threads to be an offense, whereas others are okay with it. Some will see another thread as okay, while it's an offense in the eyes of someone else.
You can't be this simple minded.
All forums are like that to a greater or lesser degree. All we need to be concerned about is whether Cheat has the spine to start sacking when mods start fucking up the spirit of the site.

Posting in every thread you see and starting lengthy conversations about absolutely nothing seems to do the trick.
Thanks. So how about that weather, huh?

Abuse my mod powers to see every ones browser history.
You... you can do that?
Sure can! Slash and I had a bet a month back to see who was the biggest perv here.

My philosophy teacher was always opened minded and never got offend by anything we said. He loved hearing our opinions. Even if our opinion didn't coincide with his, it didn't matter. He always said "everyone has opinions and thoughts, its my job to listen and I love my job"
This is how all philosophy teachers should be.
Agreed. Unfortunately most(?) of them are unlike that.

No. It is irresponsible to provide resources without being able to secure them for their intended purpose. We should not be providing aid without military assistance.

Meta, would it make you happy if I signed into his account right now? He gave me his computer you know. To update everybody in case he died. I have every single password and website he calls home. If I were a bad person, I could mess his profile up something bad. But, lucky I'm not that kind of person
I'm not sure that actually proves anything.
So what should he do? Take a selfie next to Sandtrap's comatose body and post it on here?
Definitely not saying that, just saying it doesn't necessarily prove anything.
Tell you what cowboy, how about this? When he comes over to my place to pick his computer up, we could take a picture. Me or my boyfriend. I can't get a picture of his sick little sad self because he's a four hour drive away.
Everyone here would probably appreciate that, actually.
It's a done deal then. He probably won't want me in the picture since he's a big silly overprotective friend, and plus, I don't go tossing pictures of myself around like some of those other cheap whores. So I'll offer my bf to be sacrificed to you demented people instead.
Why not? You and 'ol Sandtrap can give us a big goofy smile for the camera.
Because over half of the people here are creeps. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I don't let anybody here know anything about myself. And there's a good reason Sandy never told any of you about me. You aren't going to see much of me after he gets back because my job will be done, and honestly, the majority of you people here creep me out. So I'll leave and never have to set foot here again. But first, I'm going to slap him.

Soon we'll also have devices which will let blind people see a greater colour spectrum then we can with our eyes. That'll be interesting.

First and foremost, how do you hold the psychotic or emotionally unstable to account in that paradigm. I may be being dense here but I don't understand what you're trying to say here. If you could expound it would be much appreciated. Secondly, how can you possibly give these people a moral responsibility when they have an emotional deficit which makes them unable to connect with everyday moral responsibility?
State moral universalism. All people hold the same responsibilities and if they should violate them then they will be found guilty by a court of law and sentenced to rehabilitation if at all possible or to death if rehabilitation is not possible.

I hold them 100% responsible for the way they acted. If you know you are that broken then you have a moral responsibility to prevent harming others through taking your own life.
