Why do you care about someone who hates this place?

I can't help but ask the same question.

For a bunch of people who say I'm unknown and disliked, you sure do post about me a lot.

I think this is the first post I've seen about you on here since you posted those flamebait threads

just sayin'

Smart scope is actually a really really smart addition. I never even considered it before but it eliminates several problems that some people [including myself] have had with post CE Halo gunplay.
It's supposed to do something other than being an ADS animation?

It's suppose to reduce the amount of baseline auto aim/hitboxes/bullet magnetism in the game. Already players are commenting on how little gunplay assist there is at large. ADS for people who can't handle that.

Spoiler
Hip fire is for CE players
So, in English, zooming in increases auto-aim, while zoomed out has lower? But in general, it's lower?

Sorry for the pretension, coding stuff and writing so I'm just slapping text into the reply field as I think about it

No, I meant that zooming in decreases FOV and allows people to get a more focused aim. Not sure if it reduces look sensitivity [doesn't seem like it] but that might occur too. The game in general doesn't seem to have much assists when it comes to core shooting mechanics.

Spoiler
Which would make me ecstatic if the game looked like it played anything like Halo
So, I take it you're not happy with the additions they made? Good that there's less aim assist though, don't need another Halo 4 Beam Rifle.

It looks fun on its own right, but I can't even recognize it as a Halo game anymore. I defended Halo 4 because at its core, the gunplay was still the Halo I know and love, no matter how much AAs and perks and ordnance are there to make the game silly.

This game? Not feeling it. I hope I'm proven wrong, but...
I'm going to wait and see how the abilities work better before making more judgement calls on them, but I'd be really surprised if they didn't require a ton of changes.

Don't really feel fantastic about Sprint, and the cool punishment that sprinting without shields takes a long time for them to recharge is nice, but I can't help but feel that it's still not solving the issue. They can still run away and delay their death, despite making it more likely they will die later for it.

Climbing seems pointless to me. I defended the idea for a short time on Waypoint before people convinced me it was bad and utterly useless, and all it would do is look cool. :/

Sprint's punishment is actually in line with what I wanted for the mechanic. IMO the best solution would be to have sprint only initiate with full shields, but I think casuals would rage fairly hard at that. Climbing is something I again think is a cool mechanic for an arena shooter, but is not something I expect from Halo at all. I have a feeling it's going to break Midship like no tomorrow, and it's not going to be pretty.

Also you went on Waypoint? How are you not banned for 20 centuries?!
That actually sounds like a good idea with Sprint, shame it wouldn't fly though. My problem with Climbing is that it takes you out of combat for that second, you can't turn around, the maps will probably be designed with it in mind, so you won't be able to make jumps w/o using it, and you probably won't be able to do it backwards.

I didn't get banned for 20 centuries because the mods had a brain failure and could only think to ban me for 1-2 weeks everytime they wanted to ban me. I would love to slap them IRL if I had the chance.

My problem with climbing is that it gives you this vantage... advantage that was never present in previous games. Before this stuff climbing was something that required careful timing, placement, and skill. Now it's just a built in mechanic that everyone knows about. Skill jumps are now just regular, typical clambers, and that removes an element of competitiveness from the game.

Same is true for the vocal power weapon indicators. I love the fact that they're on a static timer like CE but the spawning announcement removes yet another thing that created a skill gap in prior Halos.

I'm ultrabanned for an abnormal 60 centuries on Waypoint. Never ever reveal the names of your alts, even if you've done nothing to break the rules on any of them XD

That being said I'm still not convinced by the game at large. Going to wait to play it.

Oh boy the "one gun to rule them all" system. God forbid the BR, AR and similar weapons have a niche instead of having one that outperforms each other.

Have you seen H5 gameplay? The automatics have insane killtimes. Magnum and DMR seem underpowered but the rest of the sandbox seems to be legitimately effective.

Wait I got it?

Mmhmm!

Actual question was to give a formal proof for it but that's another story for another time I guess XD

I might just do some small breakdowns of basic mathematical logic for people. Seems like people are interested in this stuff. And it's a way to keep me with math in Serious while still not breaching the Turkeyzone XD

So wait, did you mix the liquid from B back into A?

If so the ratio of soda to water in A should be approx. equal to the ratio of water to soda in B, no?

Well, it's exactly equal but close enough :P

So wait, did you mix the liquid from B back into A?

If inversely equal... (but you already knew that I'm just trying to sound smart)

I was sort of thinking that too but Goji said it was complicated so I've been adding shit to this stupid equation that isn't fucking getting me anywhere.

Weeeelll by "complex" I meant you'd probably have to take a more elaborate approach to lay it out [more steps, not a bigger equation]. It waaaas still supposed to be a [relatively] basic problem! The actual problem is a formal proof but I decided against including that here... for now

Next: something to do with inequalities, maybe. Oh! I should totally do a breakdown of mathematical induction sometime too.

1347
well soda is a bit more dense than water (right?), so glass b will weigh a little less than before you put the water in in the first place?

It's got nothing to do with density/physics, it's just a very specific observation about the amount of liquid in each cup!

or someone intelligent replies.

Well you sort of posted that so

Spoiler
I feel like the answer you're looking for is a reference to some math theorem I wouldn't have any idea about.

Nah, it's solvable through simple math. Just gotta organize the solution/solution steps clearly. In the end one particular fact about the amount of liquids in each cup is made clear!
Okay I have: Ax - A + 1 = Bx + A - 1; x = amount of liquid

I moved the equation around a bit but I'm not seeing anything significant.

How far off am I or should I just quit now?

Solution's a bit more complex than that XD [might wanna try arranging what happens at each step in a chart!]

Pi isn't a finite volume. You're maths wrong.

Are you trying to claim that pi isn't constant? Because it certainly is. Just because it's irrational doesn't mean it isn't a finite volume.
Then what's the final decimal of Pi?

Are you seriously trying to make the argument that non terminating numbers are infinite in value?
Yes. It has infinite volume in a cylinder. But moving it into a square will make its volume finite.

This is why I've never finished a glass of anything in my life.

Can't argue with that
