I've never seen a single ad for this movie.

If you do plan on watching it, stay far far away from spoiler territory
What kind of movie is this and what's it about?

Premise: Earth's crops are dying, best pilot on Earth leaves his daughter to go find another another habitable world as part of a giant project run by an underground NASA [as the "real" NASA doesn't exist anymore because people in the movie abandoned space travel/technological innovation in light of the food problems].

If I were to tell you anything more it'd be a spoiler. Impressed at how well the big twists were covered up.

So: space travel.

Just watched Interstellar, probably the best movie I've seen in theaters in several years. No shortage of great scenes, but if I had to pick a favorite it'd be the entire suspense sequence on
Spoiler
Mann's planet. So many subplots being juggled so well, and Zimmer's best soundtrack ever building and building in the background, ending off with THAT DOCKING SCENE HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THE SEATS WERE LITERALLY VIBRATING IN THE THEATER WITH ZIMMER'S SCORE

Also loved the 2001-esque singularity sequence, but I predicted from the start that the ghost would be Coop XD

Also have a question: Did anyone else think for a second that the ending might just be a hallucination? And I don't say that because of the whole "Nolan's movies must end with dreams!!!" thing, but because of the way Mann refers to the way that Coop would see see his children right before he dies. Not saying it was, almost entirely certain it's not a hallucination, but it was a cool little observation

I have absolutely zero, zero clue how Gravity has a 95% on RT while this has a 73%.

But yeah, if you get a chance, definitely go watch it. AND DEFINITELY GO FOR IMAX, it's totally worth it for this movie.

Shieet, am I the only one that actually likes the trailer apart from the retarded lightsaber?

I think the footage looks cool but that was a "meh" teaser. No doubt in my mind it'll be a decent movie with Abrams at the helm... but I'm not expecting anything... stellar.

I DONT BELIEVE IT HA

I DONT BELIEVE IT

AND THAT'S WHEN THE ATTACK COMES

BUT FROM THE SIDE
I've watched that movie like 4 times this month.

First one all round had me like "dude yes"

Second one is a great game but the main plot was so bad it had me like "dude what"

Third one is like a frustrating but still decent game with some nice theming but at several places it had me like "dude no"

Also whatever you do: Do not listen to the end credits music before playing the game

People who suck ass at halo shouldn't be allowed to have opinions on this shit.

Yes because as we all know there's no such thing as a Story, or Forge or Custom games or siply playing for fun. MLG and guys who Jack off to the number 50 is the only aspect to Halo that exists and only those people matter.
let me drop some knowledge on your thick skull

FUN IS SUBJECTIVE

some people have fun acting like retards in games

others have fun by trying to play competitively and winning

And since when did Forge and Custom or playing for the story or just for fun games suddenly constitute as "Acting like retards"
it doesnt. i just think people who dont understand halo's multiplayer should be taken seriously when it comes to anything other than campaign.

And if they're judging the game based on the campaign, customs, and additional features? What then?

inb4 "multiplayer is all that matters :^)"
custom games are an extension of the multiplayer.

bad kids stay mad

You've got a point. That's supposed to be "and/or"

Hey, Halo 3 has the best piece of fiction Bungie has ever written [alongside Marathon 1, Infinity, and some pieces of the Destiny Grimoire]. Damn shame it's purely textual though.

It looks good >.>

I will be seeing this as soon as it's out in the Cinema, which will be a first time for doing so >_>

Everyone is talking about Jurassic Park again

This is amazing

I'm going to watch all of the films soon >_>
I haven't done a movie marathon in years but I think celebration is in order.

And seeing the park, it was like JPOG where it doesn't all go to shit in a few hours ;o;
And then there was the time where I was modding it and I broke it permanently on my old computer...

heh >.>

I reinstalled it this morning, and now I actually understand the code that I'm altering for the mods as opposed to when I was like 9. So much more context...
Did you get it to work on Windows 7? >.>
Because if you did I'm going to get my disc and start playing nao <_<

And maybe I won't turn the texture of the grass white this time .__________.

Windows 8.1!

Oh man those terrain mods... IIRC there was this super cool terraforming mod that I never could get working, created sloping hills and all

MAN I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH ANOTHER MOVIE DONE IN NEAR COMPLETE CGI

WHO NEEDS PROPS OR SETS ANYMORE

Oh

And don't get me wrong, I live practical effects but there's only so much you can do with them.

lol

Whats the point of using animatronics if it all still looks CGI overtoned fake? The trailer was CGI overload, again
