I am on the left when it comes to the conservation of the environment and better treatment of animals (Kosher is an incredibly cruel method of slaughtering animals). I also want to see the conservation of culture and heritage, and it is entirely reasonable to take pride in them in most cases.

You see, the problem here is, the vast majority are literally incapable of change to a great degree, and the rational people that want to make the world a better place for everyone are a rarity. Why? Because humans are naturally hedonistic and most people won't engage in altruistic behaviour because they will rationalize their behaviour as being acceptable, since they can't think about the long term or see the bigger picture. That's the real issue and it will bring about our demise. And time is a resource. No progress will matter if we're going to be extinct in a century (not that we'd be able to make significant progress to utopia in a relatively short time frame like that, unless Moore's law holds up) thanks to rampant ignorance and greed.

I don't know what you both are on about. I see both sides doing the same emotional appeals and things that won't work.
I rephrase -- the right has the most logical ideas, while the left has the most emotional ideas, that, while seemingly great and morally just on paper, always fall short in reality when executed (because they don't account for the fact that humans have differences and aren't perfect beings that are all equal to each other), often with negative consequences e.g. communism. Both sides have their positives and negatives, because nothing can truly be perfect in a chaotic system.

But that's just people in general. Idk, I hate people.
Yeah, it's super frustrating when they plug their ears because their worldview is challenged, but that's just human nature.

Emotional arguments are the problem--and conservatives almost exclusively make emotional appeals. Lefists never do.
I'm not bothered by emotional behaviour or insults at all in that sense. To me, it's immature and pathetic, and the only thing you're accomplishing by behaving that way is poor representation of what you stand for. Distortion from the camera that narrows your features could also be a factor, I know I have that issue with my phone. It can make an attractive person unattractive. Holding the camera far away from your face and at a slight angle to the left or right helps a lot.

For me, Dark Souls. It really stands out to me compared to other games -- I love pretty much everything about it -- especially the amazing level design and philosophy behind the game.
It would be a 10/10 game if post Anor Londo was finished, but I personally find that excusable because of Bamco's cutthroat deadlines that forced the developers to rush it.
I honestly can't think of another contender for game of the decade.
