People who identify themselves as "gamer" make me cringe. It's like foodie. Or calling someone who reads books a "booker".
I don't like the term either, but it's easier to say than "person who plays video games."
Is casually saying "I like to play video games as a hobby" really that much more difficult than saying "I'm a gamer"?
It's a lot more awkward and unnatural sounding, yeah.

I wasn't necessarily implying that it had to be said in that way. Eh, none of this is going to stop people from using the term "gamer" anywho.

Here's some info about the Ultra Beasts base stats, movepools, typing, names and so forth;
YouTube

It seems that they all have 570 BST, although their stats are min-maxed. They also all have an ability called Beast Boost, which works like Moxie and increases their most proficient stat upon knocking out a Pokémon. It's been speculated that Necrozma isn't an ultra beast, but a part of the box legendary trio, as its BST is 600, has a different ability and the dex entry of it doesn't mention that it's an ultra beast.

Also, that 173 base Sp. Atk on Xurkitree with TAIL GLOW IN ITS MOVEPOOL. Jesus H. Christ.

Fell stinger has been buffed to have 50 power from 25, in addition to attack being drastically increased (+3 attack vs +2 previously) upon defeating a foe with the move.

Mega Beedrill is gonna be a monster (as if it wasn't already), because Fell Stinger + Stab = 100 power. Which is 20 more power than unboosted X-scissor, the premier physical bug move. It just needs one kill to get a good chance at sweeping.

-- and I'm someone who has looked at both sides of the coin to try and understand why people like Hillary so much.

Going to be honest with my preference of Hillary stemming out of party support - I'm a Democrat, I'm going to support her the same way a Republican like PSU supports Trump.

Does it mean that I agree with everything Clinton does? No - her decision to use a private server was dumb (Though the investigation into such is teetering on that line too), her environmental stance is questionable, etc. But I agree with a lot more in the Democratic platform than I do the Republicans (Particularly on social and environmental issues), so it only makes sense to support the candidate who would do more to further that agenda.

The situation is vice versa for me -- there's some things I agree with on the left, but it's moreso on the right. Ultimately, my opinion doesn't matter on the presidential election, since I'm not a U.S citizen, but that's beside the point.

Trump is a wild card who could be good, could be bad. Hillary is just bad. Why are so many of you idiots voting for someone we know is horrible out the gate when the other option still has a chance to surprise? Fools

This pretty much sums up my whole opinion on the situation, I fail to see why people who don't wanna vote for a candidate who is 101% guaranteed to be terrible should be "violently disposed of", as quoted from someone in this thread -- and I'm someone who has looked at both sides of the coin to try and understand why people like Hillary so much.

Does geographic knowledge of a faraway place really apply to becoming a cop in the US? I mean, yeah, it's stupid, but most Americans don't even have passports.

Considering pain is a sensation caused by damaging stimuli so you do not come into contact with it, I'd say no. What a stupid question.

I imagine amygdala might be a problem

Spoiler

Gosh, seeing those dudes everywhere after beating Rom really unsettled me. It made me realize what a dire situation the world was in, and if what I was doing would even amount to anything.

I really dig the theory that the blood moon, in addition to the amygdala(s), was present from the start but hidden by insight. Really puts into perspective how fucked the world is.

I was under the impression that this was a fact?
