God is simply a definition and a word. And it's built within its definition that He exists. You may not know what exactly God is, but you can't say He doesn't exist without contradicting the definition.
If you have something to say about my argument, then say it.
I'd like to know what your definition of God is, since that makes no sense. According every dictionary I own; Lowercase god means a supernatural being, a synonym for deity. Uppercase God is the English title for a supreme creator and ruler. I don't see where his existence is built in to the definition. What the hell does "it's built within its definition that He exists" even mean?

This is one of those cases where I think we should let natural selection take it's course.

From what I understand there are two fairly distinct major kinds of Buddhism, Theravada and Mahayana.
Theravada, the oldest version, is actually quite secular. It's mainly based on the idea that having ambitions and desires is what leads to suffering, and rejects the idea of deities, souls and afterlife. They don't actually believe in literal reincarnation either, rather the "circle of life" which they see as a constant cycle of birth, illness and death which is escaped by achieving nirvana, which basally means to completely abandon the world. They don't worship Buddha either, but revere him as a wise teacher. The closest thing to a 'supernatural' belief Theravada holds is the idea of Karma.
Then there is Mahayana, which is what makes up the majority of Buddhists. This form does believe in spirits, and while they do not believe in a creator deity, instead believe that by achieving nirvana anyone can gain omnipotence and omniscience and become a god, and thus worship Buddha as one of an infinite number of deities. They also believe in an infinite multiverse, and that our universe is just an illusion and that the only thing that actually exists is the "Ultimate Reality" which is described as being impossible to describe. The specific traditions and teachings vary widely between regions, but Mahayana is most definitely a religion.

The hell would you use the xbox to watch youtube when you've got a god damn computer?
I don't have cable. When I get tired of Netflix I watch YouTube.

I'm failing to understand how you're failing to understand this concept.
I don't understand why you think you need cable to watch youtube.
wut
You can watch youtube on the computer, with or without cable.
I'm thinking you may have completely misunderstood what the original question was.
Yeah I'm aware of that. The reason I watch YouTube is because I don't have cable. It's much more convenient to watch it on my tv instead of my computer. I'm thinking you misunderstood the original statement.
i think what you're both trying to say is that you're attracted to men
I really gotta up my standards.

I never pay attention to numerical scores, I always wait for individual reviewers to give in- depth descriptions to see if I'd like the game or not.

I agree. There should be religion classes in all schools.
I would support this. I would have liked to take religious history classes and such.
Exactly. This way creationism (and other religions) stay out of science and kids can actually learn about different religions.
When I was in High School my world history class actually did an entire segment on Islam, we had to study the 5 pillars, the differences between Sunni and Shia, and the Isreal/Palestine conflict. That's Californian education for you. I actually thought it was a pretty decent class even if it was rather shallow, I would have loved it if they did the same with other major religions.

Until you can prove evolution Evolution is a scientific theory, in the same league as the fundamental forces, special relativity, cell theory and germ theory. In other words, it has been proven, unless you also want to give equal time to teach kids that it's sin pulling us towards hell underground, that we're really made of dust (OR clay), and that diseases are caused by miasmas.

"Value" isn't a real thing either. Gold is just a metal, gems are just rocks, there's no real way some arbitrary amount of them are equivalent to some amount of food or other completely different material.
It's all just convenience born out of the fact that bartering is a pain in the ass.

Over 1 hour? Shit, I'll save this for another day.
It's primarily audio so you could just listen to it while doing something else. I'm about halfway in and they really need to get better mikes.

You want my honest opinion?
At the core religion is not something innate, it's not something people are born with and can't help, it's an idea they have come to accept. An idea that describes a person's whole worldview and thus unavoidably effects their behavior, what kind of morals they have and how they treat others.
So I have to ask, if you can't be critical of ideas, what can you criticize people for? Would you have the same reaction to people criticizing Christians and/or republicans?

Are you turning it in online or printing it out and turning it in?
Online.
What have you done...
What terrible wrong have I committed?
The plagiarism finder thing will flag your essay at 100% plagiarized if it picks it up on this website.
I have to name the documents that I am provided, it's a DBQ. Besides, I didn't directly quote anything.
He means the shitty automated plagiarism software will see this page and flag your paper as a complete copy/pasta.
What plagiarism software?
Have you never turned a paper in online before?
Of course, my school district just uses Google Docs. I shared the paper via Google Docs with my AP Euro teacher.
If your doing the same here you should be fine, this is for high school correct? For the future keep in mind that once you get to college digital papers are run through programs that detect plagiarism by searching for the sentences used in the paper online, and having it posted online will set off that program and get you flagged.
