I spent more time raging than having fun tbh. It'd often only go through 4 minigames in an entire game, Bash 'n Cash was a fucking rape dungeon, no matter who you played as, and the only skill-based minigames were almost exclusively thumb-breaking spinning the joystick as fast as possible. 2 and 3 were infinitely better.
I admit it was super hard if you went against CPU's, and the minigames would ruin controllers lol. Parents complained about so many joystick focused minigames ruining controllers and giving kids blisters, so they changed it.
Fuck the hardest difficulty CPUs they're fucking gods

The former, I'm not going to avoid playing a game just because the protagonist's a guy, that's weird
Well you did say that you haven't played as a male character since you were twelve, and you didn't say if it was for male/female choice type of games...
