Breaking Bad's ending was satisfyingly predictable but the way in which it happened was satisfyingly unpredictable. It was brilliant.
The Walking Dead game's ending was very emotional. Season 2 had 5 endings but none of them felt out of place. Some felt more conclusive than others but none of them felt like they were shoehorned in for the sake of having different endings. It was kind of a shame though that the final choice (pre-branching) was VERY easy for most people.
Mass Effect 2 had a fantastic ending sequence.
Fallout: New Vegas.
And...I actually liked Halo 2's cliffhanger. Would have preferred a finished game (well, Bungie generally does better when they DON'T have time to finish) but I didn't have too much of a problem with Halo 2's ending. Got me hyped.

I advise you to take the day off.
I would say at 16-18 education is more important than the part-time job you have. Sure, a part time job is important but generally you're not going to want to pursue that in the future. That education will lead you onto a degree and (hopefully) a career path that you actually want to do for the rest of your life. So yeah, your exams are more important.
I've been working for a year and a quarter at a restaurant, and I haven't really been mistreated or anything as a young employee. The people there seem to treat me as equals, even if my pay may be shit (started off on £4, went up to around £5.13 when I turned 18 so basically minimum wage) but they haven't fucked me around or anything. Can't say the same for other places though, not sure what they're like as this is my first job still.
