When Kinder dies, will his mass collapse in on itself and create a mini black hole? Or will he get bigger as he fades and become a Kinder giant?

Shut up Class
Spoiler
blue flames were a preorder bonus for Halo: Reach, but I think eventually they were given to everyone by 343. Or.....was it the orange flames? REGARDLESS the flames were kinda handed out.
But why do people wear flaming heads when they don't have flaming heads IRL?

Gaming / Why do normal people play with flaming heads?
« on: March 07, 2015, 09:38:58 PM »
I was playing Halo Reach the other day and got matched up with some randoms that did terrible and hogged the rockets. That's beside the point but all 3 of them had that flaming head thing on, with 2 blue and one orange. I was concerned and got out my phone to call an ambulance for the poor fellows, but then I heard them start talking:

"Hey this faggot, 2Class, keeps fucking betraying me, man, what should we do?"

Completely normal, prepubescent tone of voice with a slight cracking in 'faggot'. Not panicked or loud or excited like I would have expected if their heads were actually on fire. It was the strangest thing, and I didn't really understand it at all, so I asked them: "Hey, why are you wearing that flaming head effect if your heads aren't on fire in real life?"

And then they're all: "Because it looks cool you Azula-loving panzy."

But I'm still completely baffled, so I'm posting this here hoping someone can help me out and allow me to understand the real reason this is happening, because the mere "it looks cool" excuse doesn't seem good enough to me. There must be something more deep as to why they want to wear a flaming helmet.

Any explanations?

I am Groot.

They let gays use the urinals...
Gays should have separate facilities. I don't want a gay being perverted in the bathroom.

I found this quote on Reddit and I think it's appropriate
Quote
For a lot of cis people trans people are like the harbingers of the truth about the matrix they've been living in and their only reaction is bewilderment since something they've never questioned is being openly defied and to an extent undone right before their eyes. And people react badly when that happens, because they feel unsafe. Familiarity is comfort.

I'm not lying. You're born the way you're born. Whether you're black, gay, autistic, or transgender, you can't help what cards you're dealt. What you can do is work to better yourself. And submitting to your mental disorder isn't bettering yourself, it's making the situation worse. If you're unlucky enough to be born as a TG, I have nothing but sympathy for you until you decide to be an idiot and worsen your condition.
I never understood why people say this: "You are the way you're born." It completely ignores the mind/body conflict that trans people are born with and puts the person's body above their mind in importance.

Basically you're telling that person "I don't give a fuck who you are, how you feel, how you think and see the world. I just want you to act and behave like someone who looks like you would. That would make me and everyone else comfortable, thanks."

Fuck off with that.

...and hormone injections are all great ways to intelligently deal with the disorder, if you have it
Unintentionally says something not completely retarded. GG
Just to be clear, I'm talking about hormone injections to correct your disorder and get you back to the gender you were born as.
I know that is what you really meant which was why I thought it was funny..gotta learn how to troll harder.

There's no way to know if the laws of physics are static. They could have been different 2000 years ago allowing for these things to happen, who really knows. But we mustn't be too ignorant of our ancestor's wisdom.
You're completely full of shit.

Serious / Re: What's your beef with the transgender crowd?
« on: December 31, 2014, 06:09:09 PM »
Something that's bugged me is if transpeople don't feel like a man or woman (and I know 'feeling' is an oversimplification), doesn't that enforce societal gender roles? On one hand, we've got a large movement saying boys should be able to play with girls' toys and wear girls' clothes while girls should be free to do traditional boy activities, but it seems like that is entirely contrary to the notion of transpeople undertaking physical changes to be more like the opposite sex.

I find it hard to sympathize with the struggle because I can't relate to it at all. I recognize the problem and know I should care more, but I feel very apathetic about it.
For me it's been more of a struggle with my body being the wrong way. How I know this absolutely and objectively, I don't know; it's just intrinsic for me and it's constantly there.

As far as societal gender roles, I tend to get most pissed off and get the most flak when they're forced upon me, rather than me moving toward ones not associated with my birth gender. Like being strong and tough and being expected to protect. Signing up for the draft caused me a lot of grief.
