Yeah, the story is a bit meh since 90% of story driven dialogue seems to be in the cassette tapes and I'm feeling some repetitiveness  (though I'm still technically in the beginning, I just rescued Huey) from completing a mession, then hopping onto the chopper to go to another mission, rinse and repeat.

Game is still fabulous as fuck though.

Yeaaahhh...every single sect of society has those people that would rather hear nothing than 100% support, or you're a racist, xenophobic, homophobic, Satanic-worshipping mooselimb Communist.

Because bombs look like alarm clocks.  He must of been taught to make bombs by Willy Coyote.
So you're telling me that this looks like the everyday alarm clock to you?
If you were in a public setting and someone took that out, I'd say that most people would think that it's a bomb.

Quote
Because it was a just clock.
They didn't know this. What if it was a bomb and he said "oh it's just a clock", are they just supposed to believe him and risk people being injured or killed?
All of my IED training says "this does not meet the criteria to freak the fuck out and call eod."

Plus I'm pretty sure a kid that wants to blow up a school would go waving his invention proudly at the teacher's face, giving them alarm.

Also, there was no countdown on the clock, it was actually reading time.  Of course, since the kid is Muslim I guess we all have to freak out since obviously every Muslim is an evil Jihadist.

Apparently one of the officers took a look at the kid said, "Of course it would be you."

This is REAL racism.
No fucking way?

His ideas are crazy, but his immigration policy is probably the only one from the Republicans that I can approve of.

Don't see the point in killing characters if they don't have the integrity to make them stay dead.

It's no better than the ending to Twilight.

Except it serves a purpose in the plot. If Jon is the true warrior of the light, then his death is good. As a member of the Night's Watch, he vowed to father no children, swear no allegiance and never abandon his watch from now until his death. He has died, and, if R+L=J is true, that once again makes him eligible for control of the the Iron Throne, and thus overall the saviour of the realm.

GRRM plans things out, he doesn't kill off characters without reason.
Kinda contradicts Martin's themes of realism to have everything wrapped up in a nice little bow like a fairytale though.

Not saying that the resurrection of Jon is implausible, but the theory of him swooping in and saving the day just comes off as too sickly sweet to be believable. Remember how we all thought Ned was going to be the protagonist of the series, then subsequently Robb? Yeah.

The thing is, he still has a story to tell.  It's also a fantasy series, it just has some more edge and darkness to it.  I'd probably think of it as the "Watchmen" of fantasy books, describing the realism and horrors of war, the politics, etc.

Gaming / Five Nights at Freddy's World

http://www.polygon.com/2015/9/15/9334683/five-nights-at-freddys-rpg-fnaf-world-announcement-reveal

Quote
Five Nights at Freddy's 4, the fourth game released in the popular horror series in less than a year, hit this summer. At the time, Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon assured fans there would not be a Five Nights at Freddy's 5. He's sticking to that, but he's revealed that the Freddy's series is not completely finished.

Rather than making another horror game, Cawthon's next title will be a role-playing game called FNAF World, the developer revealed in a post on the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 Steam page.

"It's very important for me to say again that there will NOT be a Five Nights at Freddy's 5," Cawthon's post reads. "The story is complete, and the Halloween update and new game will not add to it."

Instead, Cawthon decided he wanted to do more with the Freddy's characters "because they are so near and dear to my heart." He says that FNAF World will involve players forming a party using a full selection of characters from across the Freddy's series in multiple forms.

Good. Sanders is the only reasonable vote, tbh

Absolutely not.

Kasich is better than this moron.

According to my Ohio friends, Kasich pretty much ruined the education system here, and while I like the fact he doesn't put up a fight when his constitutes say "No", he's as big of a hack as Hillary when he claims he liked the issue (such as gay marriage) the whole time.

Again - are we going to base our vote for the Presidency on whether they liked gay marriage pre-2010?

That's a terrible reason tbh.

You have terrible reading comprehension.  I was using a recent issue as an example that he's a typical hack politician like Hillary.

So I'm just sat there trying to take over Scotland but I get a cease hostilities order. I wait out the order, attack again and he fucking sends another. If I don't comply, I'll be excommunicated. It's fucking annoying.

Either assassinate that Pope, or wait for Scotland's approval with the Church go pretty damn low (I'd say 3 crosses max).  That's how I managed to obliterate Hungary. <_<

Serious / "I need muh securities to keep dem illegals out..."

"...but I don't want to follow the rules because I'm 'murican."

YouTube

So for you Britbong Pakistani Mooslimbs that may not know, in the United States, mainly along the borders, there are checkpoints that you'll go through if you fancy a trip through the States.  At these checkpoints, a border control agent will ask you, "Are you a citizen of the United States?" or for any sort of identification.  In less than 30 seconds, you're free to go.  These checkpoints are the results of rising illegal immigrant numbers within State borders.

Unfortunately, we have morons (who funny enough want these kinds of security measures to keep illegals out) that like to instead hold up traffic for half an hour to argue with the border agents about "MUH RIGHTS" over a simple "Yes/No" question.  One of the more infamous ones is "Pastor" Steven Anderson who, a couple of years back, entered a 90-minute standoff with border agents when he refused to cooperate, videotaping and yelling at them from inside his car, windows up.  It ended with the cops smashing his window, tasering him, and pulling him out of the vehicle.  Ever since, he's gone to multiple checkpoints just to pull his "MUH FIFTH AMENDMENT, MUH RIGHTS" bullshit.

YouTube

^ That is another example (complete with racism! :D) of good ol' stupidity.  At the very beginning of the video, the pastor complains about needing checkpoints for immigration, and then follows up with complaining about being asked if he's a citizen or not with his wife repeatedly wanting to ask the agent if he is an American.

Do you think that answering a very simple "Yes/No" question is a "freedom" to lose for "greater security"?

Do we need immigration checkpoints?

Are you going to make a 20-minute Youtube video crying for your Fifth Amendment rights at a tyrannical border patrol agent who dared to stop you?

Got the game (finally) yesterday, and sat down to play it for a few hours.  I had high expectations, and so far I haven't been let down.  Game looks amazing, the stealth mechanic is well done, and the soundtrack is just great.

Using the Fulton extraction has to be the most amusing part of the game for me so far, and I'm pretty impressed by the Mother Base functions on the iDroid.  Hoping I can play some more tonight after work.

So what is it that Hungary is doing? I haven't followed the stories too closely.

They erected wired fences (which have proved as useful as building up a wall of Kleenex) to keep out the refugees.

"Oh people are escaping war and poverty, let's keep them out!"
