That doesn't require violence when the enemy surrenders. It's called a coup.

People can be violent and messy.  Just check out those awful 99% protests.  Sure it was mainly non-violent, but they left camps and messes behind that the city had to spend time and money cleaning up.

At what point did they think storming a FBI building was a good idea?

I never actually saw it in the video, so it must have happened prior, couldn't have been too many people, though. Plenty of government buildings should be getting stormed. Hopefully this is growing into something bigger.

Because violence solves everything.

When someone is threatening your life, absolutely. And how is protesting violent? What the hell?

They have a tendency to, especially when police are involved.  Also, wording:

. Plenty of government buildings should be getting stormed

Quote
getting stormed

Yeah we can pretty much blame England for the Middle East's hatred of the West.

England was stuck in the fucking Medieval-Imperialist mentality for quite a long time >.>

For Reagan, you forgot to add the fact he armed and supplied our enemies and allowed cocaine to explode into the country.

It looks like for some of the space suits, Ridley Scott just re-used the scientist suits from that abomination Prometheus.

Given how bad he's been lately, I don't know why Microsoft let Ridley Scott helm this.  Give it to fucking Neil Blomkamp for Christ sakes!

lol wut?

The only saving grace for Abrams is he directed/produced two of my favorite shows (Lost and Revolution) but I'm also worried the movie will feel too much like a tv show

Hey maybe the movie will start out with the Jedi being overrun so they send someone to the past to change the future.

Like Star Trek.

Gaming / Re: Farcry 4, Assassin's creed Unity or GTA V on Ps4?
« on: November 06, 2014, 11:34:29 AM »
GTA V is really kind of "meh", even after completing all the objectives.  Sure it's not as fucking boring after you complete GTA IV, but it's fallen out of favor with me.  Especially since Rockstar kept promising the Heist missions....but omfg guys they have FIRST PERSON MODE NOW!  LIKE HOLY SHIT.

Unity is the game I'm looking most forward to, because I'm fanboy of the Assassin's Creed franchise.  The game looks stunning, co-op looks really polished, and the customization looks far superior to other games.  And they rebuilt the game from the ground up, so no more AnvilNext.  If you get the game, I could play with you Zio.

Far Cry 4...I'm going to wait on.  FC3 was fun, but after a while I couldn't be bothered to pick it up after completing the game (until Blood Dragon came out).  I'll wait to see what people have to say about FC4.

Nothing will ever be enough for Democrats until they have dictatorial control over the country.
FTFY
You probably think the Dems forced the government shutdown last year, too, huh?
>Dictatorial control
>Government shutdown

Pick one.

They have dictatorial control to shut down the government?

Anyways, Obama's usually bent over backwards to appease the Republicans since they would usually stamp their feet and say "NO" to anything he put forward.  So we'll see what happens now that they actually have to govern and not scream about "OMFG EBOLA OMFG MUSLIMS OMFG ILLEGALS".

I grew up on Walker, Texas Range.  While I severely dislike Chuck Norris' ultra-fanatical beliefs, it can't stop me from enjoying his work.

....though I might be less inclined to stand up and cheer when he roundhouse-kicks a drug dealer in the face about 3 times, followed by a slow-mo shot, to end the episode.

Blow me.

Theres your evidence champ.
You know, the "I made claims I can't back up so I'll pretend to be retarded to confuse people" strategy doesn't actually work.

You do know this is a forum and I don't take any 14 yer old here serious enough right?

Typical Republican maneuver of not backing up claims and resorting to preschool comments like that.

I enjoy Neil Blomkamp's films and admire the way he does his CGI.  It almost seems life-like.  Chappie seems a bit strange coming from him when you see that violent sci-fi gorefests like Elysium and District 9 were his previous movies, but this movie looks like it'll have a certain charm to it.

And Neil Blomkamp/Sharlto Copely are the new Tim Burton/Johnny Depp.  Except better.

And Obama has done a very good job at foreign policy

You made some good points, but this is just hilarious.
We didn't even leave a single military base in Iraq after the war and we're surprised the place erupted back into war. Really stupid decision by the president to pull everything out.

Why is it stupid?  We shouldn't even be out there, and I'm not wanting my cousins to go forth and die in a fucking desert over millennia-long disputes.

No, not technically. It's just as legal as it was yesterday.
