Spoiler some kind of Squall palette swap for Cloud I remember cringing to the thousands of people that were constantly begging for Ridley to be in the roster during the few months before SSB4 came out. I also remember there being youtube videos just spammed across the site about Ridley possibly being in SSB4 and videos showing leaks about him. Ah, the good ol' days.

I find mewtwo to be really good, tbh. Mainly because he's one of the only characters besides Shulk that I know what I'm doing with.
I'm depressed that Samus hasn't gotten ACTUAL buffs that can change how low-tier she can be to at least average..

Hyped for Cloud and whatever else is in store. Although, considering that this is the last one, I do expect to hear answers about the long DLC lapses. Possibly the last batch of DLC to even start with, though.

Is there any chance you can play Team Slayer with different starting weapons? I've played about 5 games so far and all of them were AR + pistol starts, which I both hate. No BR or DMR starts at all, or have I just not run into those yet?
Unfortunately, that's the basic competitive loadout start.
It's been like that since launch.
There's no MLG or anything? This is pretty disappointing. The whole new ranking system actually got me interested in playing more seriously again, but damn. AR + Magnum starts only? Not entirely sure how 343 decided that picking one of the least competitive weapons in the history of Halo as a starter for what it considers a "competitive loadout" was a good idea.

I'm not even Onyx yet (that'd be a dream come true) but I have my own issues holding me back.
>tfw stuck in gold and silvers because trash randoms in team
>tfw sometimes i choke in arena and can't land shots i'd make otherwise
>tfw i don't play enough arena to 'know' or feel comfortable with the maps yet
>tfw i'm still using 4 sensitivity and can't turn around quickly enough to get that shotty triple
It's also frustrating (when I'm actually having a good round), to get 20+ kills in Team Slayer and a decent K/D, essentially carrying my team, but to lose the game and get stuck in Gold because the randoms on my team are garbage. Seriously, more often than not I feel like I'm the only person on my team going for the power weapons; teammates will literally walk past the floating weapons as if they don't exist.
I don't know why I haven't tried FFA yet, aside from the rockets playlist that time. I guess I prefer the company.

But only move up 5 points as an onyx.... Seriously, I was the top player with 21 kills, and we won 50-14. I only went from Onyx 1639 to 1644.
I really don't know if you have do terrible on purpose and have the other 3 teammates carry the game and win just to get the extra 10 - 12 points.
Anyone who's an onyx also feel this?
