Graphics isn't everything, but do admit that a stable framerate and a good sharp image helps you get immersed. It can, but that doesn't necessarily make it objectively better.

Note how this would be considered 'bad graphics'. Can you see why it would be the case? Yes. I can also see how someone might prefer the bottom picture.
