There's a number of things I can say on this but the fact that somebody out there is petty enough to spend anything to achieve that just makes my brain scrambled eggs.
I was given about 500 so I could go to the outpost to get the gay elite pic signed by Frankie/Bonnie.
I know a few people affiliated with the company, and I made an extra 200 from winning a contest from a Spartan suit he made.
