lol at people disliking the KO punch. It's soooo predictable and easy to avoid it's almost entirely useless.
When a Mac gets a KO punch just keep distance and dodge whenever it gets near. Mac loses it after like to attacks anyway so you know the other player is going to want to use it right away.
my main problem is the fact that if he catches you in his A-button jabs while standing still (where he unloads on you and it's hard to back out of when hit), he can also throw that K.O punch in at the end. So basically, you are at about 30% damage from the jabs, and he gets a free kill. Pretty lame.

However does anyone else think giving Little Mac that K.O meter was just a bad idea? He's already overpowered in some areas so giving him a potential one hit kill move is ridiculous.
No because if you stand on the edge and backthrow you can kill from 0%

I've found only 3 or so competent Little Macs and one of them is TBlocks.
All most I've found do is side special, counter and dash attack.
Predictable.
I'm not talking about skill level, but character design. Nobody has a move as strong as that, and Little Mac if used properly is already good enough without that 1 hit K.O His Smash attacks can mop the floor with people. He's the only character that I think is super unbalanced.

You know I would agree with you, I was exited when I first saw this. I had always wanted a Galactic Federation Metroid game. I've always wanted Co-Op and to have multiplayer back...
Playing Metroid Prime 2 and 3 made me want to have a game about the Federation. It was cool fighting with them or going through their wreckage. Unfortunately this is a 3DS title only, and it's not designed the way I had hoped.
