difference between nms and destiny is that destiny was advertised as having rich cinematic storytelling, nms is being advertised as an enormous exploration game
Not all games need stories to be entertaining. Battlefront was just playing battle after battle. But if No Man's Sky's exploration isn't enjoyable after a while and it gets dull, it needs to have something else.
