makes sense really. the xbone is weak as fuck, they want 60fps with big open areas (which would put a lot of strain on the console if it was splitscreen)and lots of things happening. there's no way that was gonna happen with splitscreen.
So the franchise that made splitscreen popular isn't going to have splitscreen at all? Are you supposed to buy two Xbox Ones to play co op?
That's one way to sell consoles, remove splitscreen from all games. Now every household needs multiple consoles

Also because the mods were pushing me to own up to it to make moderation easier.
Just going to point out that Icy was a monitor at the time and to my knowledge was the only one pushing for this.
This is my one contribution to this thread.
Icy was just promoted to mod, and it only lasted like a week or two. Or something. I was in a private skype chat with him and Psy while the whole thing was going down. He was new on the job.
To sum it up, yes the idea of Nuka simply coming out (completely against his wishes I remind you) was discussed. Was it done to make moderation easier? I'm unsure and I hope that is not the case. A user's personal life shouldn't be put on display if they don't want it to be. I was simply a Monitor, so the Ninjas dealt with the bigger issues and would fill us in on some details, I still don't know everything that was discussed between Nuka and the ninjas. My role in all this was simply keeping an eye on things, voice my opinion on what should be done, and continue doing my Monitor duties.
