Honestly I would probably switch the grandmaster ninja role to having two overseers of the mods. One supreme position is never good.

Ehhhhhhh Bambi sort of does that. But I think it's more about losing innocence and growing up. Ya know, since his mom gets killed So I suppose in that regard you are correct. Pooh is sort of.....in a continuous state of "innocence" that never really ends. Bambi however is in the real world where innocence dies. I do remember loving the film as a kid though despite the dark themes
