Also something cool that people have pointed out is that Rey and Kylo are holding their sabers/staffs parallel, and right over each other. If you take a quick look, it's almost like Rey is holding a red blade. A lot of people are theorizing that she'll be a character who ends up either falling to/being tempted by the dark side. It's pretty obvious foreshadowing, but it's still a cool visual.
Could be coincidental since her staff has to go somewhere without blocking other things in the image. But I'm cool with someone possibly turning evil, that's always a challenge a Jedi faces

It's possible. While KoTOR itself isn't currently stated to be canon it's likely they'll bring back elements of it into canon. Plus in an unreleased (but canon) episode of TCW Yoda alludes to a bunch of superweapons being built thousands of years before the Clone Wars, so it's very possible that's the origin of the weapon, and the First Order simply found it.
A lot of people say it's not canon. Well they are right, but it doesn't mean they can use something from it (thus making it canon again), which is basically my point when discussing it.

We were getting ready for the final one of the year but then kupo had to leaf us and I'm left with an empty colliseum ;_;

I went to church this morning. And every time the preacher said something like it was fact, I asked myself "is this true? Are there records proving this?" A lot of things are uncertain yet are preached as absolute fact. It's basically a question of: who's facts are true? It's hard to know who is lying and be truthful when I can't see the facts for myself, all I have in many cases is somebody else's word. A select number of people get to hold the truth hostage, so to speak
