Charlie would make a terrible burglar.  If the door was open he still couldn't come inside.

And on the fox jabs, yes they are annoying. If I'm playing another fox player then I can't stand them.
Did you know about that spike trick I attempted?

You didn't use it for a while so I thought you didn't know about it. You used it sparingly enough to where I wasn't ready to dodge it.

can custom moves make a character super overpowered?
Nah. They're definitely not balanced, in that some are clearly better than others, but none of them are game-breaking. They were used during Evo, and they received mixed reception from the competitive community. I'd say for the sake of smaller tourneys, they should be allowed--we're all just having fun here anyway, right?

Watch these videos:

I don't think Roy/Mewtwo/Lucas/Ryu really need custom moves, to be honest.

Fact is, most custom moves are either too gimmicky or too useless to be used in a competitive setting. The ones that are useful don't exactly make a character OP--at least, not from what I've seen. If anything, they just make shitty characters (like Ganon and Palutena) more viable.

I'll leave it up to you guys to decide, though. Just an idea.

Regarding playstyle, I don't take risks during tourneys too often since I can't get that loss back. Sometimes I'll let go of the ledge and try to pull a back air on a recovering opponent but if I screw up at all I'm dead too.

As for speed, I dunno I just find it easy to go all out all the time. It gets hairy when you are at high % though, which me and Verb constantly got each other in the 100% - 150% at the same time over and over. The stress can really get to me at that point.

GGs. God, that was frustrating.

I lost, 3-1. I don't know the stock scores, but I got the replays.

I think I have a new least favorite character to fight.
I hate Fox with a passion after fighting Rocket. lol

I'm so sorry ;_____;

if a female character's only purpose is to stand around and look hot, then that's just ridiculous,

Ohhhhhh myyyyyyyy

Metal Gear is weird and from my understanding Quiet is an interesting character with agency. She is not a damsel in distress and besides you can get alternative outfits that cover her up. Does not one Metal Gear game make you run around naked as the protagonist or something for a section? Metal Gear is weird and Japan in general has a different set of guidelines surrounding sexuality than the west.

I was just trying to trigger someone hue

Gaming / Re: Just finished Halo: The Fall of Reach animated
« on: November 08, 2015, 06:41:23 PM »
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed. It was awful.

It was honestly really cringe-worthy at times.
I was bothered most by the scene where John fights the ODSTs. The wonky animations just did not suffice for that scene.

And just, as someone who hasn't actually read the novel yet, it was nothing like I imagined (and having finished Hunt the Truth a few days earlier, I know that it wasn't even the correct number of ODSTs).

It's just like... John's in an empty gym, then some ODSTs arrive for the sole purpose of being douchewads, and John beats them up.
Sounds like 343 was making all this build up for halo 5, and it all ended up inconsistent with each other

Can people actually be knowledgeable of the source material before they make a product now please? Or at least be consistent with similar projects that are coming out alongside them a.k.a "hunt the truth"?

Did you have sex with a rave slut?

My goal for when I go to one of these is to have crazy public trashy drug fueled sex with a beautiful fatherless rave chick

and then wake up in jail and realize the people you went with already made the long drive back home?

Serious / Re: Where do you draw the line when it comes to humor?
« on: November 08, 2015, 05:12:47 PM »
Really depends on the situation. Suppose a friend's grandma dies from cancer. I'm not going to make cancer jokes for a while, or at least around them.

Some things I don't joke about like huge tragedies where hundreds of people die, but I don't care if other people do.

I'll be a little bit busy being dead to care much.

it's a full-time job
I know all too well, it's not a lot of fun being dead.

Especially when nobody had the decency to bury me.

I'll buy you a headstone best friend
