I hate the whole idea of having credits after every mission. I beat Chapter One, had this bigger than usual credit crawl, and thought I beat the game.

If Dice/ EA didn't want it comoared to the previous games, they shouldn't have called it a battlefront. But giving it that name means you're trying to compare it to it's predecessors, which it will be.
No matter what they called it people would compare it to battlefront because of the similarities
Except that having the same name automatically gives it a standard to live up to. If Halo 4 had come out as a generic Sci-Fi shooter, it wouldn't have got nearly as much flak as it did because people had played the original games and had a standard to hold the game to.
I'm aware. But simply looking at the game, people would have done the same thing.

I wonder if there are any top Fox players in Melee who play as him not because he's the best, but because they genuinely like Fox as a character, or just enjoy the Star Fox series, or for any non-competitive reason.
That's why I use him in Wii U, which is good because I care more about the character than simply whether he makes me win or not. As for melee, if there are any it's mostly coincidental. People who like Marth in melee wouldn't use him for tourneys in Smash 4 because he's not as good. It's all about tiers If I really was obsessed with winning I'd use Diddy Kong or Rosalina
