It can be a sequel to a past game; continuation of a series, remake, spinoff etc. I would love to see another installment in the Jedi Knight series. It was by far my favorite part of the now dead Expanded Universe. You had Luke Skywalker, Kyle Katarn, Rogue Squadron, and lots of Dark Jedi.

Sakurai has stated that he "can't keep the team forever," it's gonna stop eventually. Also, the 3DS has a big system limitation compared to the Wii U so they'll have to stop once they realize the 3DS can't handle any more (at least with fighters).
Guess that makes sense. Sad that it has to end anyhow.
If anything, give the team a long break then have them start up the content again later.

Got Halo 3 when it came out (but still didn't have LIVE so blehhhhhh). Got the red ring probably in '10? Used my brother's I think for the time being.
Got the Halo 4 console and it's lasted me since.
