Going around trashing a city as a sith lord for no reason doesn't sound fun to me. And that's only one thing you could do, just throwing examples out there. Playing a game similar to Elite: Dangerous and Rogue Squadron where you fly to planets to complete missions sounds cool. But even then I question the feasibility.
Again, that's why I'm saying "Imagine this". Purely a hypothetical idea, but people apparently can't grasp that that is the topic. That rogue squadron idea is part of what I'm talking about, but add in ground exploration too. You've got all these planets and places you can fly to, then land on and explore. And you are free to do that, or just be stupid and go attack an imperial base alone, steal a ship, etc. I guess people don't like the idea of open world Star Wars games, who'd have thought?

Well, it was less to immerse the player, and more because most people are right-handed, and it would just be awkward trying to play without your dominant hand... dominating. Sucks for lefties, but thems the breaks.
That's definitely not the biggest complaint, though. Trust me--some people regard SS in the same way you regard MGS4.
