Balance refers to a balance between being an emotionless husk of a monk and being a raging lunatic that does cartwheels through the air while screaming.
When Anakin was prophecied to bring balance to the force, the Jedi expected Anakin to destroy the Sith. So clearly their idea of "the force in balance" is no Sith.

And eventually Anakin did just that, as Darth Vader when he killed Sidious.

Or alternatively you could say that balance was achieved when only one side existed. The Sith Rule of Two rule was present for a bit of an important reason.

Well no, the Dark side of the Force is an imbalance of the Force. That's why the Force always tries to correct itself via prophecies and such.

I think the Gray Jedi would agree with Sandtrap. But when the force comes to mind, balance to mean means "stability". The Jedi are stable whereas the Sith and Dark Jedi are rage, brute force, and instability.

I just got back from watching it the second time.

This time I noticed Luke standing next to a tombstone it looks. If it is, I wonder who it's for.

I never saw a tombstone just luke.
Next to him was a rock that stood up like a tombstone and there was a dirt mound next to it.

Considering he was in exile and hiding I doubt he'd go somewhere people would expect, like a family member's gravesite.

SUE THAT MOTHERFUCKER.

Anything, literally anything for the driver to pay.

Indeed

I guess the Irving Police actually believed her when it was said that while trying to back out of the parking lot, she accidentally stepped on the acceleration pedal, thus crashing the victim's apartment home.

Wow.....
Doesn't matter if she accidentally fucked up a house, she still did. So pay up

Yes.

I guess the police over there are idiotic.

If I murder someone I will make sure to apologize, maybe cry a little.
That way the cops will wish me well and give me a ride home.

So they have so many signs that Rey is Luke's daughter. Like sooooo many it hurts.

Somebody said they saw Luke's robotic hand on Rey's shoulder as a child in her crazy lightsaber flashback.
I didn't notice that myself though.

I don't have issues with her being his daughter because that raises the question:
who is her mother?
Spoiler
Leia. Sep7agon got it's incest story of the decade.

I mean, obviously people are going to go apeshit when you post spoilers to something major like Star Wars, Halo, MGS, or the latest GoT.

But is anybody really going to care if someone posted spoilers to the latest Barbie game or some shit? I'm not saying that it's a good idea, but where is the line drawn?
Can you guys really not sit there and see the difference between something like Star Wars and the next game of Barbie?

No because that requires intelligence
It takes common sense.

But the funny thing about common sense IS THAT IT DOESN'T SEEM THAT COMMON WHEN IT MATTERS MOST.

We need to change the term to fit the current generations better.

Quote
Starkiller Base was destroyed by a Resistance attack, due to a weak point which was damaged by pilot Poe Dameron, causing the explosion of the whole planet.
For the next movie anybody else think it's going to be about the First Order having some major victory over the resistance?

Usually trilogy's go with:

1st act: Introduce the threat and set the universe up

2nd act: Threat gains major victories and Heroes become desperate

3rd act: Heroes overcome great odds to defeat the threat

If this is how you idiots react to Episode VII spoilers I wonder how you'll all react when someone dumps Halo 6 plot details.

But you'll be able to count the people excited for halo 6's story on one hand, though

I think everyone else has sort of given up at this point. I mean, I'm more excited for the future novels than any future games at this point. Halo 5 was awful.

There are optimists out there believe it or not. Or they won't care about the overall story but just a single character's placement in the story.

Alright, cut it out you two.

OT: Is Poe actually someone you'd consider a main character? He was originally billed that way at casting, but I haven't heard much of him in the movie.
He had less screen time but I would classify him as a main character.

He didn't have THAT little of screen time tbh. He was the first person you saw in the film. Had his own scene on the attack at Starkiller base, met up with Finn twice, etc.

Considering that SecondClass' Chipmunk movie spoiler thread has been ignored, nothing I guess.

Stars Andy Sandberg, who is playing Andy Sandberg in New York, as Andy Sandberg solves cases with his partners on the squad.

this? ^

I didn't like Han Solo dying. Also 2 scenes dragged on wayyyyyy too long and seemed kinda awkward. When Kylo Ren is probing Rey's mind, it lasts probably a good minute.

3895
Post spoilers for something old, because nobody would give a shit
Spoilers for things that are old are fair game though, since they've been out for ages
That was precisely my point

Harrison Ford wanted Han to die years and years ago. He publicly said he would only do EpVII if Han Solo was killed off on screen.

I did not know this. The audience mostly did not know this.

Even if most people knew he wanted Han to die, that doesn't confirm shit. It's not impossible that JJ was able to entice Harrison to do another movie with a big enough paycheck.

Stop making excuses for cunts to be cunts.
Harrison Ford said he was glad to be back, liked being back in this role, and he actually enjoyed it. I thought he had a change of heart over 30 years.

So yeah I didn't think Han would be killed off.
He didn't have a change of heart because it was the one condition he laid down a few years ago regarding EpVII
I'd love a link since people keep saying this. I've never seen this.
