Why does everyone think the new Star Wars is a great movie.

And I am not being edgy. It is a good movie. It just not that amazing. I mean mad max felt like a better movie as well as the hateful eight. I can appreciate it but cannot give it a great score. I would recommend movies such as The Martian. But this does not seem like it has much in it. Reminds me a lot of Micheal Bay. Appeasing to the lowest common denominator.
For me it felt more like a reboot of the whole series. Basically JJ Abrams version of A New Hope over a continuation of a story.
Mad Max and The Hateful Eight are by far the best movies this year. That doesn't mean Ep7 wasn't great, because it was.
It's the best Star Wars movie since Empire Strikes Back.
Excellent acting.
Great action, that was a good balance of the OG trilogy and the OTT prequels.
Good characters.
The plot is basically a bette version of ANH. This isn't even a bad thing.
It was very much a continuation of the franchise. And a great one at that.
I'm surprised you aren't freaking out over its similarities to A New Hope.

Mine hurt from guitar but not games. A possible one is they have to press buttons in weird ways due to the control scheme that cause stress on their fingers, hands, etc

I'd left the school by then, but my brother told me all about this.
One class had this new teacher in his 20s. I guess class hadn't started yet, so there were a bunch of girls (at least one or two in a skirt) standing by the window and looking out. The perv teacher slid into a desk seat and took an upskirt with his phone camera.
Obviously, he was caught. A male student wrangled the phone from him, and ran down the hallway with it, all the way to the main office, teacher chasing after him.
He was fired, at least.

I still don't see why people dislike this game for anything other than campaign and lacking infection (BTW there is an infection emblem already in game so it is most likely being added).
It shpuld have been in on launch.
Warzone is fun, fair and does not at all feel competetive unless you get a full team and Arena is exactly what competetive Halo should be.
Warzone is very rarely fair; 19/20 games involve one team being curbstomped. The map design is awful, mainly due to how cramped they are for the player count and vehicles, and the grenade spam in the bases is just ridiculous. THe AI involvement is simply pathetic, and I can't understand who thought it was a good idea to make a game mode designed around encouraging spawnkilling. Warzone feels tacked on based on what they had after making arena and forgetting they needed a big team battle mode.
Arena is marhinally better because it's obvious the game was designed around it, but the terrible maps offset any advantage that has. On top of that, the supposedly "skill based" matchmaking seems to like placing me with the top-tier players who are way better than me. GG.
Idk about other people but I have not felt the need to play the campaign over and over again in any Halo game, so it's not like it is such a bad thing that campaign was lackluster.

And then there is more content every month for free. I just don't get why people dislike it.
Content which should have been in at launch. Things like forge, custom games and game modes aren't things that count as free content, they are things which are standard in pretty much all Halo games, and should be expected at launch. If I buy something, I expect the full package at launch.
It sounds to me like you need to adapt and get gud. Try not sucking you might like the game more.

I have to return the 2 rentals I have and buy the books new instead. Why? Because I need access codes for 2 programs that cost $150 each by themselves just to do that classwork.
It's not enough I paid class fees out the ass AND books. No, I need to buy computer programs because my teachers are too lazy to put the classwork on the school's student portal like everyone else.
So much for being good about saving my money, it's all gone now....
