In the US and other western countries, being an atheist is only mildly unpopular. Being an atheist is other parts of the world will get you killed either by citizens or by the government.
Why this didn't stay in Serious, I don't know. This is a pretty serious topic. It takes some real balls to do something like that.

Not responding to my post is not good for your rating though.
Wasn't sure if you wanted a response or not. I don't usually post in Serious because as I said before I usually have that same group of about 4 people that question everything I say, and then I devote the next hour and a half to answering question after question. Its a big time-waster. The Serious board is, dare I say, too Serious for me lol. I prefer fun over theological debate.
