Fuck the GC controller, to be honest. There has to be a more optimized design for this kind of game.
Have you tried the pro controller? It feels pretty natural to me, more so than the gamecube controller. Especially the z button on the gc, it feels so oddly placed now.

Well, do the Star Fox scouters provide any benefit to the user?
Star Fox Zero will be the first actual Star Fox game where they have them (they were introduced in Super Smash Bros Brawl). Presumably they are a visual representation of the dialogue window that pops up when someone talks, so for communication. Also for targeting and locking onto enemies in arwings, the landmaster, etc. Could also be used for displaying mission objectives, all of that stuff. Not power levels like Dragonball Z.
