That's what I was hoping for years ago. A sci fi fantasy game. Instead we got a CoD clone. In fact, I throughly enjoyed the CoD story more than Destiny.

When I seen the concept art to the game I was thinking it was going to be like that. Concept or not this image is implying that the game is going to have sci-fi and fantasy elements to it. They look like knights wearing power armor and there's the tiger thing which looks fantasy as well. That guys weapon looks like a rifle version of a decorated sword.
That image was the very foundation of that game during the initial development. During a panel I watched, Joe Staten said it captured everything they wanted to have in Destiny. ........wow things got screwed up.

My last stop was a bit awkward because that side of the family has nothing to do with me until the holidays.
I played nice though, so it went good.

Well, back in like... elementary school, there would be two kids who would literally chase people down wielding mistletoe (or anything that they could find that looked like mistletoe) and raising it above two kids' heads, telling them that they have to kiss. I never fell victim to it, but the look of horror and disgust on my peers' faces when they did were priceless.

I so badly want to make a joke, but you'll probably kill me >______________> SO......I'll just avoid derailing the thread. My worst Christmas was the first one after my dad left us for a random woman he met at a truck stop. That happened in January, so it was 11 months later. Let's just say tensions ran high because certain family members didn't show up, and.............I had to watch the fire burn with no way to put it out. I hate being in positions where I'm powerless to help, so it was a pretty bad day.
