HOLY FUCK

THE CUBS HAVE JUST WON THE WORLD FUCKING SERIES!!!!!

Suddenly, all of my life's problems have been inexplicably solved, all thanks to a group of men who scored an arbitrary number of points in a meaningless culturally significant game of baseball!

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

I'm personally elated by this, because they haven't won something this big in a very very long time! And since I live vicariously through my favorite baseball team like a vapid and soulless loser, it feels almost as good as accomplishing something meaningful myself! If only I ever had.

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

Did anyone else see Lebron James in the stands? I was like, oh my gosh! He's just like us! I haven't felt so validated about my miserable existence since the LAST world series, where I saw some OTHER famous people I will never meet on my television!

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

I think sports are a valuable and smart use of our resources. It's very intelligent to spend years of your life training to become the best in the world at hitting small objects with sticks--only to lose and achieve crippling depression as a consolation prize. I think that's beautiful. Sports are beautiful.

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

Later this week, I'll be heading off to the polls to vote for my favored presidential candidate. I really don't like Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but at the same time, voting for anyone else would just be a waste! Nonetheless, I will vote like the hapless little sheep that I am--after all, I am a sports fan!

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

Come to think of it... Have I ever done anything meaningful with my life?

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

I guess if I think about it, the world really is a terrible place, and we should probably do something about it--but it's so much more fun to sit back and distract ourselves with pointless, superficial entertainments. Baseball provides a socially-acceptable wank that I can share with many people who are just as stupid as me.

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

Hey, do you think if we were as enthusiastic about medicine as we are about men hitting balls with bats for three hours, we would've cured cancer by now?

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

To be honest, I don't even know how baseball works! I don't even know why I root for the team I root for! I just follow the flock for no reason, because it makes me feel good to be a part of something that the public deems important--no matter how artificial and insidiously wasteful it is!

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

For every winner, there is also a loser. In a bracketed competition like baseball, however, there can only be one champion of the World Series. Everyone else is guaranteed to lose--to fail. I celebrate this insidious, wasteful, and inherently self-destructive behavior--with a smile.

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

I'm probably gonna forget about this by next week.

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

But then I'll just move on to the next worthless sporting event!

THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES
THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES
THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES
THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES
THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES
THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES

trumpeter mass suicide in 7 days
Behind my house some guy made a large wooden sign which is the size of a car. On one side it say's "Vote for Trump" and on the other side "Prison foe Hillary". If Trump does lose I wonder if the guy is going to commit suicide or start a shooting.

Just recently, the No Man's Sky community was in shock following an infamous tweet from developer Hello Games. "No Man's Sky was a mistake," it says. Obviously, this isn't something that fans would want to hear after a long silence. Fortunately, as what reports say, it was due to a hack. That, in one way or another, both the studio and founder Sean Murray have nothing to do about it. It's still hilarious in a way though. But somehow, for what it meant really, it clearly shows that someone out there wants the video game company to apologize for the mess.

It's actually a bit confusing, especially to the fans of No Man's Sky. As reported by Kotaku, the controversial No Man's Sky tweet was -- contrary to the aforementioned -- was caused by a "disgruntled employee." And when people think that was it, it's when thing start to get a bit more murky.

Polygon, on the other hand, reached out to the No Man's Sky team in hopes to clarify the situation. Surprisingly, someone in the name of Sean Murray replied, shedding light on the infamous tweet. According to the publication, the tweet did really come from Murray, only that someone from the Hello Games took it down. Because really, they "have not been coping well." Both Kotaku and Polygon received the same email response from a person who calls himself Sean Murray (this was due to speculations that the guy's email accounts are also hacked, thus reports suggest it could be the hacker sending out the responses).

Based on the email, the mastermind behind No Man's Sky admitted that the title was "simply unfinished upon arrival." Heck, he even went on to saying that Sony -- the publisher -- forced them, including the community (ouch, right?). Murray also pointed out in the email that the continuous harassment and "absolute gross" behavior from the fandom have played somehow affected their artistic vision.

With the pressure they're getting from the tech giant, the studio had no choice but to cut out some key No Man's Sky features. This is when Murray, on the same email, apologized, stating that they didn't really deliver what needs to be delivered.

Nevertheless, Murray asked that the whole No Man's Sky community be understanding with all that's happening. That they're simply a small studio that gave out "blood, sweat and tears" for the title. In the latter part, the founder stated that the lack of respect to the work they've done is what saddens him the most. Despite all of these, he said that they'll continue to improve the game to the extent that they "dreamed of it being and beyond."

Whether or not this is email really came from the man behind No Man's Sky, it somehow wraps up everything about the game's crisis. Or perhaps, it's the kind of words that the community was waiting to hear from the team. This article will be updated as soon as more information about the situation surfaces.

or just make a PS4 that was backwards-compatible with PS2 discs.
Why have that when we can instead have re-releases of games which have unneeded trophy support and HD textures?

I don't know if it got vetoed or not, but back in January British lawmakers were debating if they should ban Trump from the UK. If the guy does become our president how would that affect our relationship with each other?

-Forge is very detailed, but the problem now is that it's OVER complicated. Unless you're a die-hard forger that spent hundreds of hours in Reach's Forge World, there's way too much stuff to understand.
I give them points for turning it into more of a developers editor, but you are right about it being over complicated. With Halo 3, Reach and 4 anybody can go into it and figure it out withing minutes, with 5 on the other hand it seems like it's going to take hours just to do something basic. What they also screwed up is that for the monitor you have to hold down sprint to move faster, in the other three games it simply was a toggle feature.

I tried out forge in the hopes of making a simply creation which would be an armored warthog and tank(armored as in by placing those shields around the vehicles.). Withing ten minutes I gave up because I wasn't able to turn the objects around in order to place them on the body. The other thing I had a hard time doing was lowering and raising the objects as well. 343 should have included tutorials in the game for forging since it is nowhere as simple as what it was in the other three games.

I expect some FBI members to mysteriously disappear after this
suicide by 2 gunshots to the back of the head
It is possible since you can miss the brain with the first shot.
Did you miss your brain?
Son, the only gun I have is an AK. If I was going to shoot myself in the head it would be from a powerful pistol, not a long gun which I would have a very hard time trying to hold against my head.

A story that isn't told through fucking grimoire cards.
What was the story for Destiny? Every mission we were doing in that game was some random ass thing. What really doesn't help is that bull shit with the "I could tell you" scene. To me a huge amount of the story and background was made up in the things he was bringing up.

God Bacon, you're making it seem like the OP raped your wife, murdered her and then killed your children. Calm down man, it's just a bottom-tier game made by a developer which makes Hello Games look like saints.

What do you expect from a game which looked like shit to begin with? The developer is going to have to do more than a simply graphics mod to make the game look nice.
