Any fat fuck can sit on their ass and push buttons on a controller slightly faster than somebody else.
Really? I'd love to see you do something to this level.
YouTube
Also I don't know
It would take a while to get the memory down on pushing the keys that fast but he's not pushing them down at some super human rate. When I was watching that I was pushing buttons down at the same speed in a similar group. Doing that is nothing more than memory and hand coordination along with it. He does have skill due to that but it's nothing that would make it a sport.

Also I don't know why people refer to professional gamers as being fat, I don't think I've seen one that was over weight.
I'm just making a point that any unfit person is able to do what they're doing. With something like tennis or running you have to work yourself up physically in order to be able to do any type of competitive events with it. The video you linked you just have to work yourself up memory wise. Anybody that doesn't have any type of hand or finger problem can easily push that buttons that fast.

Is playing piano a sport? Is speed sketching a sport? Those are 2 skills on par with this l
No, because those aren't competitive in the way that gaming can be.
For piano you can have competitions about who can play a song the fastest and an endurance contest. For speed sketching you can have a competition about who can sketch something the fastest while trying to make it as close to what the image is. As a joke I came up with MLR(Major League Remote) some years ago. It's a competition where people do speed channel changing with the bar, who is the fastest at using the number buttons and an en endurance thing where a group of people just change the channel with the bar. Just because something doesn't seem like it doesn't mean it can't be made into a competitive contest or done competitively. Using your logic about MLG players having speed something like speed sketching would be a sport because it involves speed, skill and it works out your hand muscles.

They use some physical exertion in their hands. They type incredibly fast, which requires a bunch of training, and even risk injuries while playing.
Any fat fuck can sit on their ass and push buttons on a controller slightly faster than somebody else. There's nothing physical exerting about sitting down and using a controller to play a video game. With your logic using a TV remote slightly faster than someone else can be considered physical exerting.
Quote
Physical exertion is "the activity of exerting your muscles in various ways to keep fit", So you can argue that they need to build up muscles in their hands to play like they do.
They're sitting down and using a controller which requires no muscle mass at all to do or any type of cardio training. Pushing buttons on a controller slightly faster than someone else isn't going to get you fit. If you want to build up muscles in your fingers you would need to use one of those exercisers or do something like finger push ups.

but investigation has show data leading to Russian army SAM weapon system used by the pro Russian rebels
That's nothing more than a coverup and the culprit is some tall building in a city. After 9/11 the building somehow acquired a SAM and it used it on the plane. The building most likely panicked when the plane was coming in too close and it fired in self preservation.

strictly speaking, yes, it is a sport. gamers are NOT athletes, and it is NOT an athletic competition, but it is indeed a sport, in the classical understanding of the word.
It's not a sport since there's nothing that involves "physical exertion". There's skill but there's nothing that involves  physical activity so it's not going to fall under the term sport like what football does. It's an Esport but it's not the term sport without the "e" in front of it.

getting offended by generalizations is pretty stupid

i mean

think about it

I'm.....offended? I just think making incorrect generalizations is a bad thing
Why don't you believe in the guy that has no evidence for existing?

4398
For people who don't believe in God atheists sure are afraid of him.
It's not the deities we are "afraid" of it's the ignorance caused by the idea. The Aztec's did human sacrifices in the name of their gods. The Spanish inquisition was a result of religion. People being burned at the stake and the Salem witch trials was the result of religion. For the modern world we still have ignorance being caused be religion. There's people that are against gay marriage and deny evolution due to it. For the Middle East the treatment of women and those radicals are caused by it. Like I said it's not the deities we are "afraid" of it's the ignorance caused by the idea.

Lets see how fast H5's population will dip below 100k
What game doesn't have a population drop after the first month or so and when another major game comes out withing that year or months?
Halo 3 competed with CoD 4, World at War, Battlefield Bad Company 2, GTA 4, and MW2.

Three years after Halo 3 came out the game still had at least 150k people playing daily.

Reach barely had 100k daily after its first year it came out.

And Halo 4 never had 100k ever again after the first map pack in early December.
You think the reason why Halo 3 held its population longer was due to less competition and Halo still being remotely new? With Reach and 4 CoD and Battlefield were more popular along with other games being out and Halo would be getting old.

Why anyone is buying Halo 5 for the multiplayer is beyond me. Everyone I know is getting it for the story.
buying halo for the story? after h4? wat
Halo 4 has a far better story than what Halo 3 and Reach have. With Halo 4 you actually know what you're doing in the levels from the start and the story until it gets a new objective. The first half of Halo 3 is so random that you can remove it from the game and nothing will change story wise. For Reach the majority of the game is random up to the point you get Cortana. After Halo 2 Bungie didn't even try anymore when it comes to the campaign. It's sad when a small team working on a side game which is ODST ends up having a better campaign than what the whole team did for Halo 3 and Reach.

It has to do with the gameplay of Halo itself than the current state of it. I find large scale combat a lot more exciting than what I do with Halo which it doesn't do. Warzone looks promising on that part but I don't know until I play it. For the killtimes by the time I kill somebody I'm already bored of playing. I would rather have faster killtimes than dicking around while doing it.

For the campaign like I said you encounter enemies in small groups which I find boring. I would rather have large epic battles than spending minutes walking down a path to each encounter. So far we never had any large encounter and when it comes to vehicles we encounter a few at a time and it's never large. The only time we seen anything large scale in Halo is in those live actions trailers which the game doesn't live up to and those demo videos of things that didn't make it. Like I said above the killtimes also apply to this. Instead of the campaign having it's own weapon damge we use the MP balance which to me fails in the campaign. For the difficulty instead of the enemies being smarter and the encounters being different it's just handled lazily. All the enemies are bullet sponges, they are the highest rank and the damge they do is increased and your health and damge are lowered. When you have a game where it takes time to kill something increasing the amount of time to kill is just dumb and boring.

I don't understand why you're saying the content is being removed. It was never in this game.
Yes using the word "removed" doesn't fit but the point though is that they're not including content in the newer game when the past games had them since the start. They're going to be charging full price for a game that's launching with less content than what Battlefront 2 did with and that's not right at all. If they do include space battles as a DLC it's most likely going to be a paid one or launch with shit for maps and the rest are going to be a charged DLC. It seems like they're not including content to either charge it as a future DLC or to make sure this game doesn't kill off Battlefield.
Quote
And it's perectly fine to not include extraneous stuff like an AT-AT.
How is having less content fine? It would be one thing if this was going to be the first Battlefront to have it and then they scarped it. But it's completely something else when we had the ability to control them since the first game and now it's just one less thing we have content wise.
Quote
but this seems like just a dumb thing to get upset about.
If it was this and a few other minor things not making it there wouldn't be much to get upset over but that isn't the case. This is just one more thing on top of other big ones that aren't making it in this game. People are already mad about having space battles and the clone wars not being including in this. When you have another form of content not being included that feeds to the fire no matter how small it is.

Just to make it clear, I'm not saying they aren't doing something unconstitutional. I agree with that, but people are so concerned over a cosmetic breach of the constitution which doesn't threaten their civil liberties.

You could be much more concerned about legislation among other things that actually changes your life and can infringe upon your rights. That's all I'm saying.
Having religious motto's on government buildings is enough to path way to more religious things being in something they don't belong in. One day it's this motto and the next day they're forcing it by teaching about the bible in public schools. Religion shouldn't have any appearance on or in government related things and if it does it shouldn't be targeting a single one out of all the religions we have in this country.

The U.S isn't making an announcement that Christianity is the official religion of the United States, or giving special treatment to Christians.
It does when it's using "In God we trust" instead of a motto that's for all the religions in the US. Not every religion here shares the same god. When you have a motto that's for one particular religion or favors a type of it over the others that religion is being favored over the other ones. When you have a country that's made up of different regions that isn't right. All regions should be held on the same level by the government which isn't being done with this motto and the under god thing in the pledge.

4410
Also going to add in that the AT-AT was only on two maps ever, both of which were corridor maps so you would realistically only be moving in one direction anyway.

And if the AT-AT even made it to the other side, the Empire probably already had the CPs taken so there were no enemies there. I dunno why people talk it up like it was the best feature in the game.
Maybe the reason why people are mad about it is simply because it's another piece of content that's being removed. A game from 2004 or 5 has more content than this game which is just sad.
