For myself I find the turn based system better than the real another FPS game system. I find it funner having to plan out what I'm going to do instead of just running in and shooting everything like it's CoD. For the atmosphere
I like the rebuilding theme the first two games has better than the destroyed world themed Fallout 3 and NV went to. In Fallout 2 there's Vault City which is a newly built city and in Fallout 3 and NV there is no such thing. All you see is shitty built settlements or people living in an area that's already existed before the nukes.
For Fallout 2 to me that games has harsher choices to it. If you become a slaver you end up fucking yourself over and then there's the Ghost Farm quest. If you're too late or you have that farm village attack it then everybody in the farm village is dead to you. Every NPC there ends up only talking about the attack or whatever. Even the people that sell you things loose that ability once you or they attack the Ghost Farm.

When I started the video I looked away and I thought the car's noise was someone mocking them badly. Also the guy in the background that is walking by the car was great. He keeps walking forward but he is looking back the whole time. Then once he gets off camera he walks back into it just to see the car again.

Anybody else wish the campign was just focused on Locke's group and the MC is just seen in cutscenes? For myself I enjoy his members a lot more than Johns due to them being more fun to be with.
No, I completely agree. I vastly prefer Osiris to Blue Team. They all have varied backgrounds and their inter-squad chatter is a lot better than Blue Team's. Granted, I may be biased in favour of Buck, Vale and Tanaka because books but still. I like Blue Team but they aren't all that interesting.
he sq This is one of those things I can't explain how I fell that great but like you said Blue Team is boring to be with. Locke's team to me is like the commandos in Star Wars RC. Locke is exactly the leader commando and Buck is the black and white one who is the joker of the group. To me with Blue Team there is no humanness to them to relate to and to get attached to. The only thing they have going for them is that the MC we played as since the start and the others are just characters in books. There is nothing game wise for me that makes playing with them fun. For Halo 6 I'm hoping they just write off the Chief and have a character that isn't a wet blanket.

The only book I have written by a women is some shitty science fiction romance* novel where the author could even understand basic physics. And while I have nothing against female authors, it's just that most don't write hard sci-fi or (good) fantasy novels, which makes up most of my reading interests.

That's pretty much my stance. Karen Traviss is okay until you realise she doesn't research lore for any existing series' she's writinf for like Halo or Star Wars (She thought there were only 3 million clones in the GAR).
For Gears of War there's that APC that has six wheels but in her books she says the thing has four wheels instead. There is a Hummer like vehicle in the lore but in her books she was talking about the six wheeled one.

I just noticed that today. Every time I got shot I took cover behind something so they could recharge. I figured that since the campign uses the MP balance the shields would act the same so I stop sprinting whenever I'm out of fire. I know the tank in the campaign doesn't have the driver controlled machine gun so I figured the shields would be no different.
