It's safe to say the people who wrote this movie had no idea how to use a map. For the section the ball droid had they already knew what planets those were so they didn't need the whole map. They just had to look at that section and look at what planet his trail ended to find him. When you're finding a place in real life you don't have to type in what country it is located in.You just have to type in the name and what area it is in like the county and state.

Felt like she should've had more of a presence as well.
Before I saw the movie today I've been thinking she had a larger role due to all the merchandise she has and due to her being a unique character. I know this is her first movie but what we seen of her was what you said a lack of presence.

The only thing she did was stupidly lower the shield and other than that she did nothing at all. She wasn't even with Ren when he went planet side. Every scene she had in the movie could have been done by some random person. Some random captain could have told Ren about Finn. Then for the base some random could have been forced to lower the shield. To me it would have made more sense to have some random lower the shield than this loyal trooper who wasn't even forced to lower it. She bitched at Finn for taking his helmet of but she pretty much willingly lowered the shield to her. That's just stupid writing right there.
For her character type I know she's supposed to be the Boba Fett of the trilogy but at least with him his first movie appearance was set up far better than hers. With Fett everything he done in Empire could only be done by a single character. Somebody had to find Solo and this same person had to take him to Jappa. With CP on the other hand like I said every scene she did could have been done by different people and the out come would be the same.

Gears of War. I found the Pendulum Wars story arks in the books to be more interesting than the current timeline the books are set in. Having games and books just about that war would be great. Then for the Locust they are one of those things that can have a very deep back story but due to the type of game they are in that's not going to happen. If Gears of War was a different type of game or it was made by a different developer like CD Project then the lore to them would be deep.
For Fallout it would be a nice change to have games that take place outside the US like in China since they were the primary rival of the US. What would also be nice is having a game where we start out being born at an Enclave base or vault and we do main story quests for them.

Why though? I thought those scenes were really well done and highlighted how big of a victory it was...
The problem is that you have people celebrating on Coruscant which is the Empire's home world. The reason why that is a problem is because that planet would be under imperial control so a celebration on that scale would be impossible to happen. The only way it would happen is if the whole Empire collapsed that day which it didn't happen. Even though the Emperor died that day there would still be high ranking officials that are able to still run the Empire which would still be a strong force. That scene is implying the only person left to run the Empire is Palpatine and the entire military for the Empire was at the Death Star 2 or in it. It's a really bad scene when you put simple thought into it.

I started with TPM, so I never felt the "mystery" of the Force.
Was there anything mysterious about it to begin with? The only powers we seen being used in the OG trilogy was Obi-Wan' scream, him mind tricking those troopers, Vader chocking people, Luke guiding those missiles , Yoda lifting up Lukes ship and Palpatine's force lighting. There's nothing special or mysterious at all about those type of powers since they seem like things that would be used in any type of fantasy thing. The only mysterious thing about the force are the ghosts and when it comes to the powers like I said they seem like things that you came arose before.

I know it's a stage show but the character she is playing is a white women even in the books, not black. Yes it's not going to change anything but it's still going to be strange seeing a character being played by someone that looks so different. In the end though it's something that shouldn't be made into a big deal since the plot is still going to be the same either way.
