I know I wasn't making memorable posts or threads, but I'm surprised I wasn't mentioned as well. We both were active users before and after the first update. When Bnet still had this layout we were part of a small group that was posting.

I gwt similar on the waypoint forums.
Because I went on the site when it first started I have a special rank called master of unicorns (I have no fucking idea why that name, either) and I get a lot of messages asking if I'm a 343 employee or a mod.
I forgot the reason for it but it had something to do with programming the site. It was a filler rank until the ranks got setup or the ranks got fixed.

It's a complete butchery of everything KOTOR, particularly the characterisation of Revan and the Exile. Not exactly a bad game on its own, though. Just a bit dull.
Well, you can't pinpoint Revan and the Exile's personality for obvious reasons.
And if they want to bring them back they would have to keep to one version of the character.
They still had base personalities even if most of it was determined by the player.
But the Revan and Exile in SWTOR are so poorly written it's awful.
SWTOR is the reason why I hope Bioware never makes a KOTOR 3.
What really pissed me off is showing Revans Identity, Bioware really fucked that one big time. I don't care if his canon gender is male but showing his face just ruins the mystery and his character (considering his character is fucked in SWTOR).
For Revan what would be cool is that he is not a person, but an identity that gets passed on somehow just like the arbiter rank in Halo. Revan would start out as an original person but over time a different person would be wearing his mask and would take his name for their own use.

They still had character traits which weren't decided by the character. For Revan he went from having his own motives to simply being mind controlled to due the bidding off some Sith guy. The guy went from being an interesting character or at least having interesting motives to simply being a pwn to introduced another character. The build up that was made for him in KoTOR 1 and 2 is destroyed due to the changes that happened to him. For the Exile she simply died from being stabbed in the back. This is a character who defeated a Jedi who willed himself to live, defeated a Jedi who can use the force to drain all life on a planet and defeated a Jedi who not only was manipulating those two Sith lords, but she also drained the life of four Jedi masters at once. Having he die from simply being stabbed in the back is a shitty way to kill someone like her off.

It's sad that the marketing for this game has a better story to it than what the game does, even the trailers have a better story to them. I think it's safe to say more effort went into the trailers than what went into the story for the game. I know the trailers for Bungie's Halo games look better than what the game is, but those aren't story based. With Halo 5 we have two point of few trailers that are making a conflict look more serious than what it really is. The conflict that is in the game is nothing more than the Chief going AWOL. For the trailers it's as if the Chief was responsible for mass destruction and murder. Then there's the trailer where the Chief is walking in a desert which is implying he's looking for Cortana while trying to hid himself. When it comes to the game we did not look for her once and we weren't hiding from anybody when we were playing as the Chief. It's as if those trailers are for Halo 6 or whatever due to how different the story in them and the game is.
