Alternate what if's are always interesting to talk about but sport poor support structures for arguments most of the time. Especially if we're talking about the past. Hindsight is always 20/20 right?

I can only speak from experience and from what I've seen. Standard run of the mill jobs have always blown ass although that doesn't mean that people pursue jobs and study subjects because, big shocker, they want to. Whatever they find personally fullfilling could then therefore be called enrichment.

Factually wrong matey. Prime's gonna show up with the big guns when the chips are down.

He's a straight-up good, respectful guy -- it makes sense that that we would label him a boring user. Because if you're not actively shoving your opinions down someone's throat with insults and memes, you're a FUCKING square.

No shit dude, someone who is super friendly and never brings anything to the table is BORING and a square.

There's no conversation to be had if everyone is in agreement and friendly with each other.

That implies the only type of conversation to be had is one where where there's some kind of opposition. You don't ever talk to people for the sake of seeing what's up on their end of the spectrum?

That's not what I meant, but things tend to get old if you literally agree about everything.

I agree.

Case in point.

Onto my actual point though. I'm sure blocks doesn't agree with everything people say. He just doesn't feel like talking about what he disagrees with. And you can't really blame him for that.

It can get tiresome to continually wage an uphill battle of opinions that ultimately doesn't amount to a lick of shit in the end.

I'm sure TBlocks is a cool guy IRL. People convey themselves quite differently when they're online.

Some do. Then again, there's some things that can't be conveyed through text too.

Some things? Over 90% of what makes up human interaction is lost through text.

Not neccessarily a bad thing. Text is just communication on a basic level without all the hassle, baggage, and difficulties. It serves a purpose.

Never said there was anything wrong with text speak. But you are missing out on the fundamentals of interaction.

Edited my posterino.

Other than that, personally, I don't mind missing the fundaments of interaction. Fuck, physically, at the moment, I'm incapable of speech anyway. Those so called fundaments aren't missed too much by me.

You're incapable of speech?

I can kind of relate, since dealing with people stresses me out at times.

Shouldn't have said incapable. My bad. I can speak, but only for very short things. My throat's utterly fucked from too much coughing.

Cheers to talking to stressful people though. There's one thing I don't miss.

But I can agree on what's lost though. People've often mistaken me for being sullen a lot of the time. Unless I'm being blatently obvious by announcing that I'm sullen, most of the time I approach things with humor.

In my experience, more often than not, it's people who appear outwardly bland that have some of the more interesting thoughts. Some folks prefer to keep their interesting aspects out of the spotlight.

« on: September 30, 2016, 12:31:35 AM »
Wish I could say I was distressed in any manner.

With or without our help, the environment changes. Active volcanoes and raging fires clouded our atmoshpere millions of years ago and wiped out over 90% of all life. With or without our help, in 50,000 years the earth will go through another ice age. In millions of years, the continents will have shifted to form another supercontinent.

In all those changes, species will go extinct, like they suppossedly do every single day. Landmass, water ratios, temperature, will all change. That's something nobody can stop. While it's sad to think that our future generations may be in the dumps because of our respective actions, ultimately, this planet has seen worse events before. So has it's lifeforms.

Man I hate relationships. You trust someone to enjoy your presence for a long time and after some time you have to deal with the heartbreak of not being good enough or losing interest.

I'm ready to fucking die now

The heat of the moment always sucks. It's a temporary thing that passes. Do you know what you need to do? Take some time to grieve. But not long enough to get sucked up into it. Use your head on this.

When things don't work out, well, they don't. You can't change that. But what you can do is understand something. That person you still love and want to care about? You keep loving them and it's only going to hurt you. Find that switch, turn it off, and move on. Learn from your mistakes if you made any. Trust me when I say you'd rather not want to die right now.
Kind of hard to do when a friend has a chance to date her and getting reminded of it sucks ass

It's not really a skill or method of thinking that can be taught. But if you have enough people chuck a dagger in your back and others to part ways with, eventually, you learn how to sever connections. I can't say it's a pleasant ability to have since the process of getting it isn't exactly peachy.

But learning how to do it helps. Pain is still there but you'll be less put off by it. It's never easy to put your heart on the line and get burned. But don't let it stop you. What's done is done.

Joking aside you've got a valid point if you take a step back and really look at some of the things people put value on. It's mostly just funny, actually.
