You guys love lemon, but we'd be a lot more active/keep a lot more members, and just generally be a better forum without him and his ilk spewing aggressive, nonsensical bullshit all over our main forum. It's fine to be silly, but projecting that much inner despair and hatred through a disassociated filter of 'oh I'm the mean and lulzy internet guy' tends to cause people to not see the point in posting. That much negativity only kills things.
lmao this guy
I don't mean to attract lemon here, but apparently I can't help it. He'll follow.

Omg. Is 'Viking-Days-Of-Our-Lives' worth me watching? Describe the scene that's challenged you the most so far.
Blood Eagle.
I really wanted to add 'apart from violence' to that, but I figured it wasn't worth it. What about the Blood Eagle challenged you the most?- the Blood Eagle?
for real spoilers The offendant gets down on his knees. Then his back is opened with knives and then with axes his ribs are chopped away from his spine. And then his lungs are pulled out of this huge bleeding wound and laid upon his shoulders so they look like the folded wings of a great eagle. - Ragnar
Can't really say 'apart from violence'. The vikings were historically pretty violent
Yep, that's the Blood Eagle.

What's your handle on b.net, Ryle?
Verbatim
Makes sense, with Verbatim's fetish for the things that he hates. You've gradually weened yourself off meth and onto meme's. It's only a matter of time until a Dark Crystal style reunion occurs.

Warlord Chronicles are his best. Even he says they're his favourites. The rest is nice, fun, inoffensive reading. Nothing spectacular, but not offensive, and I do have a soft spot for Historical Fiction. You should check out the Sharpe TV series; Sharpe is played by Sean Bean. It's one of those rare things where Sean Bean doesn't die. Because he's Sharpe.
The Saxon stories seem pretty offensive to Christians lol
Inoffensive in terms of writing and storytelling ability. He spins an engaging yarn.
I could care less about who the contents offend, lol
Ohright, I think I prefer the Saxon ones because there are more of them and I've spent longer with Uhtred than Daerfel. If the Warlord trilogy was longer I'd probably prefer it. Derfel is way more honorable.
It's just a better piece of writing, probably his very best. That's my personal preference. Length doesn't matter overmuch to me. I feel like he more fully fleshed out his characters in Warlord within one book than he usually does with another set of characters in three books. I felt the full impact of their personalities and motivations within one or two chapters of meeting any of them, deeper exploration of character aside.

Hitler's architect. What are your opinions on him? I'm of course expecting the usual silliness, and that's fine. For myself, my understanding is that he isn't anywhere near some high percentage of complicity in any sort of atrocity, as far as I know. But I don't believe that the man is as pure as the following image represents him to be. Those are nice sentiments, and about all he could get away with, especially in that era. Or any after the war for that matter. Image is taken from his Playboy interview, page 69. Lol. Discuss.

Remember how epic that first trailer for Reach was at the 2009 VGAs?
That trailer was better than the whole game.
I disagree. Let's do the ordering thing. Halo CE > Halo 2 > Halo Reach > ODST > Halo 3

Every time I see Halo 3 Mark V I think of stupid ass caboose.
It ruins that helmet for me.
Every time I see Reach Mk V, I think that I am Noble 6 How are things, Chief?
