Technically I live in a hamlet. The designations for my province are all a step lower than they should be despite their population.

Our cities are actually only large enough to be called towns.

Most of our towns should be called hamlets.

And those really small communities of like 12 people shouldn't even be called hamlets.
What's the nearest large town called?

Hard to say. I don't remember the population numbers, but it's a toss-up between Saskatoon or Prince Albert.

Do you gently remind them that they're named after a dick piercing?
Whisper it softly to them... on the wind... *cock riiiiiiiingsssss*

Either/or, it's all viable to me. Thanks.

This is hurting me physically and emotionally.
I didn't know you had such a strong emotional connection with our planet  :o
Earth is my mother and the  stars are my father. I'm something holy between heaven and hell and vice versa.
Are those lyrics? lol
no
cos it sorta rhymes
but it isn't
goddamn I'm just sayin'

I live in a small US Neighborhood that counts itself as a "Village"
The Police Department is a friggin small shack
Link to your village? I know I can count on you, Pip.

Don't trust any of you people to give my village address
Pip, no! Don't let me down! I always rely on you!

I live in more of a small town then a village
What's it like?
A couple of food places, a gas station, a grocery store, and then a neighborhood consisting of about 12 homes ^^
What kind of feeling do you have living there? What kinds of things happen?
I love the place and nothing really happens except the occasional driver being pulled over for speeding on the main road that cuts through
I'm going for a walk and I'll be back with better questions...

Alright, ill answer when I get home from class ^^
What's the weather like?

I've been listening to some good spaced out bands called true widow and south pacific. one's shoegaze, the other is like slowcore.
What the Christ is Slowcore even
jim... bring honor to your family and go listen to down colorful hill, I could live in hope, bedhead - bedhead, songs about leaving, true widow s/t, codeine - fridged stars, slowcore is one of the best genres ever.
I heard Codeine once and it was alright
Codeine is good. It's a punishing album for me though, with my altpoprock sensibilities.

I live in a village of 2,000 people, though that fluctuates a lot because the majority of them are over 50 and a majority of those past retirement. You see a lotta ambulances...

Nearby is a town of 20,000. Not even sure it's a town exactly, more a "historic" town.

In Ireland, I lived in a hamlet, about 5-6 houses on a backroad near to a not much larger village, and a bajillion fields.
Noice. This is interesting.
Doesn't even have a wikipedia page.
It's considered a part of nearby Fenit.
Jackpot. I'mma study your place of origin.

Does every building look like a gingerbread house?

That, my friend, is my sniper scope
On an Assault Rifle? FUCK

We got Halo 5 today. Did all the updates and such. I wasn't going to play it. But now I might. I'm a big fan of the assault rifle.

Not sure what constitutes a village, but my city contains 6500 people.
Wouldn't a city have to have at least like... 10,000 people. 6 thousand is town size here in Australia.
