Oh no. They might ban me.
They just don't understand you
If they did, I'd be banned. Fucking repressors
Wait, you're banned either way? Well. It really doesn't matter what you do then, huh... there's a freedom in that.

So... I'm gonna just go ahead and link this in to the cringe thread on Bungle.
How could you
Are you still over on Bungie, Froot? I don't mind if Das links it, all the haters that I didn't know I had moved to this site, so it'll remind my friends over there that I still exist. I imagine the only other type of person left over there would be new people that I don't know.

Fiction or nonfiction?
doesnt matter honestly
The Knights of the Limits is a collection of short stories, all space-related. It's not the most readily available book though. Where are you going to get the book?
barnes and noble
its on there, i might check this out
Cool. I'll throw another couple of books at you then. Revelation Space. The Collapsium. These two are more toward science fiction than science fantasy (for what it's worth in fiction), if you know what I mean. Cos I know you like the actual science.

I fear it less and less as time goes on.
I figure if I'm right, I'll get to have a killer afterlife and spend it with the people I love, doing the things that I love and ALWAYS being happy.
If I'm wrong, the worst that could happen is that Christians/Jews/Catholics/Hindus/Mudslimes/Whatever were right and I will go to Hell for not obeying every single trivial rule in the book. I don't see that as likely, so it doesn't bother me.
The middle ground is that we are both wrong and nothing happens. My brain will just shut off and I will no longer experience sorrow, joy, or anything, so it's not like I can complain.
When you look at it that way it becomes much less scary.
I'm gonna suggest that calling people 'mudslimes' as a racial slur is probably hell-worthy.
Probably, but all organized religions disgust me, I just don't have funny names for the rest of them.
Hmm. As long as it's more about religion than race, I guess.
I despise all cultures barring of a few, so I suppose you could say I am racist because of that but I don't hate individuals for their culture, just their cultures themselves because they disgust me.
Fair enough.

Uhm... the GPS?
Winner on the first post.
The are using Commercial grade GPS to conduct flight operations over Syria. One of said commercial grade GPSUs is a Handheld, what appears to be a, Garmin unit.
Let that sink in. Russia...is conducting combat operations with precision guided munitions over Syria...with early 00's era commercial GPS.
Yeah, I don't know much about this sort of thing but it seemed a bit weird for a jet to be using a GPS like some sort of soccer mum. Don't planes usually come equipped with a way to tell where they are?
